Billet LT4 Supercharger Lid
MPI is releasing a new Billet LT4 Supercharger Lid for Corvette Z06, Camaro ZL1 and CTS-V. I spoke with their customer service and these are made in USA.
Can’t wait as this design looks really good as well. Based on a
, power gains resulted in +11 RWHP and +14 RWTQ on a Hole Shot Mustang Dyno on an otherwise stock motor and stock tune in a 2017 Corvette Z06.

But without the tune, we'll take the meaningful power add along with the intoxicating sound of the blower and the look of our lid. We have a few in the community and they get a lot of attention at Cars and Coffee when the hoods are popped.

Hello and thanks for your interest. We're happy that we at least have a dyno video and a dyno sheet, unlike some of the competition. The answer to your question is no. It does not require a tune. However, we are on the schedule for more dyno time in the near future and are going to baseline again with just the lid, then perform a tune and see what the results are and will immediately update the forum posts with those results.

Will this lid fit under the 2015 ZO6 hood ?
I am already tuned/ calibrated , in you opinion can this just bolt on or do I need to revisit the tune ?

Wouldn't HAVE TO revisit the tune and everything would be fine. Soon, we are going to revisit the dyno and tune the vehicle and see what the power gains are with the tune. With no tune, we went up +11 RWHP and +14 RWTQ with our lid. But this application does not impact things enough to require a tune. I'm hoping with the tune and the lid though we see gains in the neighborhood of 40 points on both HP and TQ.

Looking forward to seeing the tuned dyno run.
Three questions:
- did you notice more whine from the interior while driving the car ?
- what' is the magic number going to be $$$
- have we decided if it can fit under a 2015 hood without changing the liner ?

Absolutely. We wanted to get crisp video of this but have not had the chance to do that yet. It will be coming soon for sure, but there is a very noticeable change in the blower sound and it's a lot of fun both outside and inside the car. Check the video out in the forced induction thread we have going or here -->
- what' is the magic number going to be $$$
There's a thread in the forced induction portion of the Forum that lists all this and before weeks' end there will be a formal ad in the vendor section, but pricing looks like this - $1029 for a lid in custom powder with the MPI logo custom colored, $949 for custom powder coat with the logo not custom done, $929 for anodized finish and $900 for plain machined finish with no powder or anodizing.
- have we decided if it can fit under a 2015 hood without changing the liner ?
We have two customers that have successfully installed this on a '15-'16 car and the lid fit fine without altering the hood liner. The Weapon X lid recommends changing the liner. Ours is shorter than the Weapon X.

Quick update. We now have black anodized lids in stock. More formal photos will be available tomorrow and on our website, but here's a sneak peek. So these are anodized black, top and bottom. The ones with the black logo had the logo machined in before anodized. The ones with the silver logo had the logo done post anodize. Current stock finished goods: 15 pcs silver logo post anodize, 7 pcs black logo, 4-5 black anodized sans logo. This will all be updated on our site tomorrow. Formal for sale ad with directions in the vendor for sale section next week. Thanks to all that have inquired, reached out and thumbs upped the design, data and videos associated with this lid. So far, it's being received VERY well.
I took these photos with my iPhone. I am extremely fussy. I can tell you the finish quality on these is incredibly nice.
Thank you,
MPI
