Front Bumper Fascia (Center) Air Deflector - P/N 22799212
Does anyone know of an after market supplier for GM part number 22799212 (Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector? Unfortunately I've managed to tear two deflectors coming out of driveways onto a lower street elevation. The least expensive part I've been able to locate is through a GM dealer internet website. The going OEM cost is approximately $85.00 for the deflector plus taxes (8.28% in Texas) and shipping, so I'm out around $110.00 by the time it's all over.
I realize that I could probably just leave the deflector off but it gets very hot during the summer months here is SE Texas. I'm afraid to not provide the motor the maximum amount of cooling air possible. If anyone else has had this issue and has a less expensive solution, I would REALLY APPRECIATE knowing what you did to mitigate the cost of this expensive piece of plastic!
