While none of these show is more than we already know, these are highest quality shots of the "C7 ZR1" so far.

Looks like the enlarged the grill pattern and carried it across all the openings.

A z06 with the LG cooling gills is what the ZR1 looks to be.
LG should be selling the crap out of the cheek coolers as they are the real answer!

Lol.. this is probably the facelift to the existing Z06. Since we all know that the 17 will look exactly like a 16.

They don't facelift Vettes. This is a new model. Either a ZR1 or a track rat car.

Interesting though, it looks like the rear spoiler uprights are shorter than in previous spy shots. Also the front tires do not look as wide as before. Previous spy shots made the front tires look massive. Not necessary with more downforce? Granted, these are most likely not production rims but you would think they would test with the rubber its going to use. Idk about rears but I cant see them slapping on the ol' 335's with theoretically 700+ horseys

I'm thinking the new LT5 that keeps getting talked about is going in this and the new Z/28. I don't see the ZR1 sharing a motor with a camaro, I can see an N/A 580-600hp track weapon with all the aero and such. The only thing that threw me off was the blue calipers on the last mule.

C4 was updated, C3 was updated... yes C6 or the C5 wasn't updated but what goes to say they won't this time around? End of the day.. it's just a guessing game now.

Track oriented model will be nice..

I have seen two separate companies with front bumper intercoolers just like the pics above.
Nice to see GM jumping on the bandwagon and getting the cooling where it needs to be for the track users.
Wonder if the larger hood bump will mean a larger SC?

Larger SC and more HP....check;
Front heat exchangers for better cooling...check;
Rear wing for more downforce....check.

Z07 track option...standard....check.

All directed at the track user.

The tires still look pretty wide. It is most likely the same ratio as the Z06. Looking forward in seeing the final product.

Que? They sure did for the C4. And the C3. And the C2.

I'm going to guess that they've done what everyone else is doing and what they should have done in the first place - dump the intercooler heat load somewhere else other than in front of the engine coolant radiator.

1) Increase frontal cooling area
2) Move intercooler heat exchangers outboard
3) ????
4) Make money!

My guess too, but I would think the rear wing and the Z07 goodies would be optional.
A lot of guys would simply buy the car for the greater power alone.

Downhil's drawing reminds me of this one I did once. I always wanted to have T-shirts made to wear to the track
