Not to rain on the ZR1 thread, but why is this thread in the C8 forum?
The C8 Forum states that it is, "The place to discuss the next generation of Corvette, be it mid-engine, Zora, or whatever form it make take."
Historically the ZR1 has been a subsequent iteration of an established generation (i.e. C3, C4, C6). And it looks like the next ZR1 will be an iteration of the current C7 generation... not the next generation C8.
Not a real big deal, but I was just curious.

Who knows when the info will be released...November maybe?

Bet GM does not announce as many expect at Detroit in January. Possibly at 24 hrs of Daytona, or even as most would not expect - LeMans.
