Yep, and from the other pics it doesn't look like it'll be exposed when the hood is closed.

I'm in. Sold. M7 with the big wing. I'm really hoping there isn't any "market adjustment" on price by the dealers. I will wait if there is.

looks nice, not sure about that starting price, thats a heck of a premium over the z06. Must be expecting a limited run, otherwise I see them sitting with the ME in the not too distant future.

Impressive, but just like the Viper ACR, will be sold in small numbers. To hard core. Made for the track not the street which is fine if you want a track car! Not ground breaking at all. Bring on the C8 Zora mid engine super vette!! That's the one we all want!!

That will depend on the quantity, dealer allocation and demand. Some dealers will try, I'm sure. Traditionally we have not.

I think most are missing the fact that you can get it without the wing and all the areo and it comes in a convertible too. Just like the current Z06 you can configure it almost anyway you want it.

I really like how they thumbed their nose at the EU and said we won't sell it there. This was made for the US market mainly and will be a low volume car. But isn't that what we all want anyway so we say?

I think the ME discussion now needs to focus on if it will be able to perform on par with the ZR1 or not. I think if it can't it will potentially be a bust depending on its price. If its under $100k and close on performance then it will most likely do fine again depending on the quality of the interior. If its standard GM fair for the interior then it will flame out. So things are surely going to get interesting from here with the ME.

Well, let's hope for the guys and gals that drop $120k+ on the C7 ZR1, that GM wont come out with anything better and cheaper for awhile lol.

Great point, Considering theoretically the ME will debut with a base model

I hope you're right! And you could be, but at this point I'm losing faith.

This is the C7 flag, so I'd have to believe this is referring to the ZR1 reveal and not a C8 ME.

I am really interested in this ZR1 and has me second guessing adding a different car to the stable. I am not waiting on the ME cause I can always trade out if its that good. Besides I could be dead before then. A convertible ZR1 has my little mind wandering....

unless The C8 isn’t ME but rather the ME is an added halo model!! I think we can include that it’s going to be the C7 ZR1 though. I do find it odd you would do an overseas unveiling for a car that likely won’t be leaving the states.

And this still doesn't explain why there was an abrupt end to 2018 model year putting dealers in tough spot. Who knows.
