ZR1: Question...will ZR1 also appear as a Convertible??
Well I can only hope that # 75 for me will be a ZR1 Convertible-Auto- Ceramic Brakes and Non Huge Rear Spoiler...
Have become very partial to the Convertible because of the Interior Noise Factor..
Not sure though if GM would invest in a ZR1 which could not be tracked without heavy Modifications.
Maybe they could build me just One as payback for all those Corvettes I have had in my Garage....
Maybe Tadge or Harlan or Someone from GM will read this post and step up to the Plate--- I am running out of time---- Oh well here's HOPING..... H

Harvey, with C and D’s article and other sources, we can confirm you can get exactly the combination you want!

Why do you want them to step up to the plate and make a special car just for you...that you will sell to someone else in 3-6 months?

of course he can, and more power to him. However my question is why should GM build a special car just for him? If GM wants to build a special car for someone, why not gift one to charity for a veteran or someone like that, not some guy who is just going to buy whatever they make anyway?

Vert? Yes. There’s a spy photo, and I think vid too, of a ZR1 vert in partial camo.

Actually, there have been several spy photos of different ZR-1 drop tops

GM will not need to make a specially unique car for Harvey. Instead it is offering the ZR1 in all the configurations, in the combination, that Harvey wants, e.g., automatic, convertible, no big wing, and as all ZR1’s come with C-C brakes standard, Harvey will get to order his chosen ZR1 from the same order sheet that all customers can option theirs.
And for those who want the big wing, in a coupe, with a 7M, can choose exactly that.

May be they will. Harvey may well be Mary B's screen name.

Never would expect GM to build me a special model..... I get great treatment as it is. It's been a great journey driving all these Corvettes....
Still though not totally convinced there will be actual production of a ZR1 Convertible.. Hard to imagine the market for such a limited market considering the tracking implications.
Of course here on Long Island there is not anything that Remotely resembles a track.

Considering you'll trade for a 2019 when they come out, couldn't you go w/o a convertible and live with a coupe for the two weeks you'll have the ZR1 in the interim?
