It is to me.
People are really calling a full warrantied and tested 755hp sportscar overpriced. Relative to the market of 700+hp sportscars I can buy out of a dealership, this car is an absolute steal.
Really don't get why people are comparing aftermarket anything to something offered by an OEM.

If you’re not a hard-core racer, a fully warranted 757 hp Callaway for street driving or drag racing is a phenomenon option. What’s the benefit of spending an extra 30 thousand dollars?

The Callaway option is fine for someone willing to go with an aftermarket solution. But again, there's no comparing that to something offered out of the factory.

Have you ever driven the Callaway car? I have driven a lot of them and can tell you that the drivability is absolutely no different then the pure stock car except that it’s much much faster.
I am not saying that the Callaway is a better car than a ZR1, but it might be better for a particular person just as grand sport might be a better car than a Z06 for a particular buyer.

You're at the end of a chain of replies I was in. It originally started with someone saying the ZR1 was overpriced for what is offered.

But, especially a Callaway SC is a safe bet and good for resale as such. The 1.7 isn't a high point in an otherwise good car!
But come to think of it!? What about the crank and fuel system!? Developed!
Crank worth 7000 RPM? That's where it starts!
Hopefully, the improved A8 will fit. Those ratios suck too! That whole scenerio really has much bigger consequences!
Also, a tuner I new always used OEM parts when possible.

The Dubai relEase photos look 100 times better than the car and driver photos..
I love it...
Not a fan of the rear wings for street use but I'm sure I'm in the minority and I understand the track duty the zr1 is designed to master...
Looks great

Most impressive Vette yet.
Some ACR track records are probably going to get shaved.

It's removable!? ;)
A track appliance if you will! Alignment, ride height -splitter pitches perhaps, and track setup stuff! Notice the bracket spacing, the wings look interchangeable.
Didn't you get my memo?

Burning Brakes
Overall I think it's a big achievement...however I am not a fan of the 'attached' wing...I use my hatch/trunk all the time and this looks to be a real PITA to use for daily use. Otherwise I think it's awesome!!!!! Go GM!

Why would anyone want to buy this car over a ZO6. The suspension is the same, brakes are the same, Engine has a larger supercharger for just 100 extra HP. The hood is different and so is the front grill. It also has a large wing on the back. I paid $112,000 plus tax for a fully loaded 2016 ZO7. If a loaded ZR1 will cost about $140,000-$150,000 why bother. To pay $20,000 to $40,000 more for a 100 HP is ridiculous

This car has addressed every criticism you have posted concerning the C7 Z06. When are you placing your order? You have stated that you are a man of great wealth so the price shouldn’t be an issue. It would be a great upgrade from the used C6 you bought a few years ago.

However, the lower and smaller wing is standard, for those who would rather have less downforce, less drag, and a wing which is less intrusive than the high wing.
Per GM:
"The standard rear wing is a significant top speed enabler, offering 20 percent less drag than the available adjustable high wing yet still helping create 70 percent more downforce than a Stage 2 Z06 with the available ground effects package. "

So per MT, only 60lbs more? let's see how it does on a scale..
Hopefully they offer the Aero package on the Z06. The Z06 would no longer have the drag penalty but would have more downforce. Would be a killer car.
