Time for ZR1 to have its own thread/section
Awesome car, just seems all the posts and topics in the C7 General thread are ZR1 related. Z06 has its own, time for ZR1 now?

Ive been asking, if there is enough traffic there will be If you look up top you can sort by all C7, ZR1 only and ZR1 excluded.Keep adding those ZR1 prefixes, that will show the amount of ZR posts to TPTB

Personally, I'm enjoying all the hype and discussion on the general C7 right now. But once that dies down and it's closer to actual release then yes, absolutely it should have it's own forum on the C7. In other words, soon!

So in other words they're concerned about being able to generate enough ad revenue in a new section so instead they throw it all in general.
I appreciate Steven at least trying to make the situation better for the users of this forum by getting filters in place.

Silly not to have a ZR1 section, especially if a Z06 section exists.

You might note under C6 Forums, ZL1 and Z06 are combined. If they only sell 2-3K units a year, how many of those owners will show up here?
Every new model generates a lot of new discussion, then things die down, and traffic is generated by a large number of owners.
I like what Steven Bell has done, because there is still a lot of general interest in the entire Corvette community. Those who only want to see ZR1 posts now have an easy way to do that.

^^^ I think you're right about interest dying down.
The GS doesn't have its own forum, and a lot more of them are on the road than C7 ZR1s will ever be.

Go Canes!
Why not (at the very least) combine the Z06 section and make it Z06/ZR1 section??
Will that satisfy the advertisers?

I posted in the help section about this. I noted the [ZR1] prefix on many posts. Apparently that is a new feature of the forums and they are using it for this, rather than creating a new section. You may see more of it to help sort things a little.

My pleasure everyone!
Just so you know, I simply laid the groundwork for this section. I prefixed all of the ZR1 threads. That made it easier to move all the threads once the "higher ups" agreed to make this sub category. I did lobby for a separate ZR1 sub-category....it's good to see this came to fruition.
