Went to the auto show today and saw the car. Overall it looked awesome, but the hood looked a bit unusual with that large hole in it

Based upon what I was told, I too would temper any expectations about anything new being learned at the LA show.
I am going to meet with with great friends and to visually see the ZR1. And maybe just maybe, GM might have a Rhythm-n-Blue or Deep Shadow Metallic other Corvette there???

Sorry man, you're right. You're a significant contributor and one of only a few on here that I'm interested in hearing from. I thought I read that flames will shoot out of the tailpipes, so my earlier question stands.

With the C&D article getting leaked last week and the official unveil today we're finally getting some details on the C7 ZR1. However, there are typically a lot of smaller details that don't get covered and usually we have to ask Tadge or folks in the engineering team about. Let's start a list of things we'd like to know and perhaps we can get these in as an "Ask Tadge" question now that the car is officially. Here's my list to start.
1) Has there been any significant improvements to brake cooling with the ZR1 over the Z06?
2) Are there any suspension changes for the ZR1 over the FE7 suspension and are they the same with and without the ZTK option. Spring rates, stabilizer bars and bushings, shock internals, etc.
3) How does the downforce and drag of the ZR1 compare to the Z06 options? It would be great to know front and rear percentages for DF as well as the drag change.
4) Has anything been done on the ZR1 to improve transmission cooling with the M7 and the A8?
What other questions to folks have?

All of the posted above are worth finding out, but there is only ONE thing that really counts...
Can it be tracked all day long without overheating????
I would hate to be one of the guys who are first to jump for this car without a definitive answer to that question.

Question 1, good point. I fear that dumping the cheek heat exchanger exhaust into the front wheel well will increase the temperatures of the front brakes, or at least make it more difficult to cool them. Will MOTUL 600 brake fluid be sufficient, or will we need more expensive brake fluid?
