Awesome! The ZR1 looks very fast. The A8 shifts much faster than the Z06. Hopefully Z06 owners will soon have the upgraded transmission software that is included with the ZR1. The ZR1 A8 also didn’t overheat on the track.

Disappointing.
What were the lap times?!!!
That damn auto was downshifting in the middle of the corners.
Even on his hot lap he let off before the S/F line. It looked like he was purposely trying to NOT set a time.

The driver wasn’t trying to set records with his lap times. The idea was to give a ride along the experience of how well the ZR1 handled and how fast it is. The car looked fast to me.

Thanks for the kind words.
Willow is my home track, as it is to all other Corvette racing enthusiasts here in So Cal, and I’ve driven a zillion laps there. So yes, lap times are important, more so than zero to 60 times or quarter mile times. It’s more important even than a Ring time because it’s the most relatable performance measure for guys like me who track their cars.
