Introducing the C7 ZR1....

I'm sure there will be some front clip kits for the Z06 that'll be out within 6 months or so. That'll be way cheaper to do than dump the Z06. Autoweek is guessing the base MSRP will be $130,000. Check all the boxes and then the inevitable dealership ADP and you'll be looking at $170,000. Be ready to spend some serious cash to own the first one on the block.

Looks terrific! I really like the front bumper. My Z is cranking out almost 800 at this point so I dont need the extra HP but Im sure that front bumper will be availiable soon...Hopefully. dont like the wing, but if it does function to create more downforce without hurting top speed, that would be a good thing! Well done Chevy!

I know everyone is estimating $120-$130k, but according to Tadge (and I really hope it's true), the ZR1 won't cost double the price of a Stingray. The Stingray starts at like $55k which means theorecticallly the ZR1 should start at roughly $105-$110k to be true to Tadge's words. It would be a great deal at that price.
We have to wait and see.

"The standard Corvette ZR1 receives a low-wing spoiler to generate up to 70 percent more downforce than the Corvette Z06’s base aero package".
Meh, so I guess it will be just a lil faster than the z06 in the straight. Cause more downforce will kill the hp difference between them.
This is bad cause even the standard Z06 is pretty slow on high speed. I thought this would be a straigh line beast like the previous ZR1, but they made another track car... Too bad they think the parachute in the car is a good idea... I'll wait for the C8.

Then say it starts at 119,000 then add shipping
then you get an M7 Maybe a plastic shaker hood not the carbon fiber stuff shown.
The options any and all ring up quick.
Look at the Z06 79,000 then up to 117,000? Loaded Vert.
So I see this 119,000 going up to 155,000 plus loaded.
Have to wait and see all the pricing.
Then full MSRP for sure for while.

The ZR1 is growing on me and I do like it a lot. I'm sure in person it will look even better. Unfortunately I don't track the car except in a straight line. It is way above my pay grade since it is $60k+ more than mine. I still love my Z06 and wouldn't trade it for anything else but I do really like the new ZR1.

Considering a loaded out Z06 runs $109k. I see this starting at $119k base and optioning out to around $149k. I don't see it hitting $150k and up. Unless there is dealer mark up.

I will keep my loaded Z06/Z07, not worth the extra cash to trade and I do not track my car.

The Dubai relEase photos look 100 times better than the car and driver photos..
I love it...
Not a fan of the rear wings for street use but I'm sure I'm in the minority and I understand the track duty the zr1 is designed to master...
Looks great

This was the car.
the front bumper that they actually made is not to my liking. The rest of the changes are insane though. Love them.. just wished they meshed the design of cutouts in the bumper like the rendering and didn't go all 1990s Pontiac cladding...
first time a Corvette went this route since? Nevermind. They haven't.
No....like a wart.. and its molded into the bumper. How about like the canards and wicker bill. Leave the bumper holes like the yellow car and have it so those can be added for tra k use if needed?

I don't like it ( my Z06 is no longer king). It's not for me ( I can't afford it). Blah, blah, blah,. Great job GM. This is called advancing the Gm brand and Corvette name! Paul
