I love my new Z06 the front of the ZR-1 looks like a camaro and I looked at them the other day they had the same big wing. I think the C7 Z06 has better lines so if I want more hp I will be going to callaway for my 757hp and 777fpt or eaton myself It looks like a cross between a C7 and a supercharged camaro to me and I just bought my 2018 Z06 and GM already is releasing 2019 model year at the end of January all to promote the new cormaro ZR-1and a few other considerations!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention $120,000 base price or so i have herd not for me!!!!

I'm satisfied with my 17 GS vert.
If I'm to spend over $120,000 on a car, it's got to be one
I can expect to resell at a profit down the road.

yeah, the C8 will have 762hp for $79,999 if we follow history correctly and based on GM's mentality of bringing the top tog performance down to the next Z06, like they did with the C6ZR1, brought that performance to the C7Z06 for 50k less...

Not convinced there will be a ME corvette could be full of it but the ME car may not even be a corvette but called something else. It would totally change the front V8 corvette that has been around for 65 years again I could have missed the boat on this????

I think my favorite aspect of the new car is the shaker hood and the whole carbon fiber + cutout thing. Then I was thinking how weird it's going to be when someone asks to open it up to check out the engine, so you open it up and basically the entire engine is covered by the bolted-down CF cover.

Too rich for my blood right now but who knows what the future holds and at this point I might as well wait for the C8 if I decide to get another Corvette.

I’m still targeting a 2019 Z06. The ZR1 is designed for the track and I rarely get the opportunity to track my cars. The jump from 460 to the 650 Z06 is something I can appreciate even on the street. The jump from 650 to 755, although still significant, will mostly be appreciated on the track at speeds higher than 130 MPH.
The ZR1 looks great and I’m sure there will be many bought just for bragging rights and accolades at local cars and coffee events. I just can’t wrap my head around that for a $40K upcharge.
I’m sure there will be some good discounts even on an ordered new 3LZ/Z07 Z06.

The newest corvette is always the best corvette..
It is part of the corvette heritage for the past two decades.
No one can (or very few) can buy a new corvette every year or two and with that piece of logic the continued enjoyment of corvette ownership includes knowing that the corvette team in bowling green is Always working to improve the breed.
Makes owning any year any generation corvette even better.
There is a heritage in that concept that enjoys this American iconic tradition.

The pics alone are not moving me... perhaps after getting to drive one and seeing in person, maybe I will be moved to pick one up, but for some reason I am not getting very excited about the new ZR1... perhaps due to all the talk about the ME coming sooner or later as a C8... but I am sure they will be beasts for sure!
