I love it.

I wish they had a Z06 version with a lower line.

Unfortunately, I'm in the crowd of folks that simply can't spend 120k+ on a car.

The vehicle will more than likely be at the NAIAS in a couple months. Hopefully I'll be able to catch a glimpse as this will be the first time in years I've attended the Auto Show.

Not sure if you live close to LA, but maybe a special guest appearance at the LA Auto Show is likely.

And now that the dust has settled on the reveal, I'm really liking the end result, including the hood. The Sebring Orange has turned out better than I expected as well.

Yeah, I'm close to LA, so will most likely attend if the car is there.

Seen several Porches and BMW's but never regretted buying the Z51. Statistics and power curves can't replace the driver's nerve. Blew past 175MPH several times only to see Z06's brake hard for the next curve. Car rocks no doubt about it. However, it's the driver that determines whether or not it's too good to be true.Yeah. Some might call me a hooligan. Gives the Vette a bad name. But I didn't pay $70K to drive in the ECO mode. Block me, Mock me. I've got a V1 and plan on rocking and rolling until they take my licence away. That's right and I'm 67. Go figure. "If you not living on the edge, than you taking up too much space"

Totally with you, brother, and I'm gonna try to take you on the inside by late brakin' ya in my 2015 zo6/7....I hope I don't take us both out as I'm only 54! I do like the escort 360 max better than my v1, tho. If you haven't tracked your car yet, do it. Not the spring mountain school ( which is good, too) but an open track day. All these discussions about cars people haven't driven, don't or won't own, are kinda silly. If people just beat on the car they have a lot more, spent the money on tires and training, they'd find where the fun really lives.....or they can just go back to waxing and posting.
As an aside, thanks to the guys on here with the real experience and knowledge who post here, bish, poorsha, rikhek, and several others, you know who you are. Your insights are valuable and carefully read.
Few of these cars are investments. What they are is great fun. To look at, play with, modify, dream about, but most of all, to drive. Short form, if you don't know that your car already has rear wheel steering controlled w your right foot, you're missing out. Be safe out there, and don't do stupid things in big groups: too many witnesses!

To not be completely off topic: I love the hood too. I want one, but gonna let the market shake out a bit this time as I got my 2015 m7 zo6/7 in Jan 2015, for $1k over sticker. On a Zr1 I won't be able To repeat that deal, is my guess. And I do wanna see the lap times from the big kids before I'd bother, since I dont like the wheels, and it would cheaper to just push my zo6 to 755hp. It wouldn't make ME any faster tho.... I'm not even ready for slicks yet! And then maybe get a ZL1 1LE or a 2014/5 z28 in addition instead, since I'm dreaming, w two daughters in college now! W my 2015 Never had a cooling issue. Haven't had any issues.
