C7 ZR1 hood. Anyone else in love with it?

I like the hood a lot, and love the nose. I know that it won't fit the Z06 because it's wider, but I'm hopeful somebody builds some to fit our cars. I wouldn't mind the LG cooling solution with the heat exchangers added to the system but I hate the cutouts required for their install. If this nose can be adapted to the current Z06 I would be a lot more likely to install the additional cooling.

Maybe
I've got a measly Z51. Manufactured in 2016. Granted. Only 20K on the odometer. However, seen a lot of women but a Z06 never crossed my mind. Tangled up in Silver. ZR1. Maybe. Seen several Porches and BMW's but never regretted buying the Z51. Statistics and power curves can't replace the driver's nerve. Blew past 175MPH several times only to see Z06's brake hard for the next curve. Car rocks no doubt about it. However, it's the driver that determines whether or not it's too good to be true.Yeah. Some might call me a hooligan. Gives the Vette a bad name. But I didn't pay $70K to drive in the ECO mode. Block me, Mock me. I've got a V1 and plan on rocking and rolling until they take my licence away. That's right and I'm 67. Go figure. "If you not living on the edge, than you taking up too much space"

That whole car is sexy, and yes, the hood looks great.

I thought the same, but that wing is growing on me. If you’re gonna shell out for the ZR1, go all the way. I agree with others comments on the ZR emblems on the hood and rear, I don’t like them.

I think the hood design is a cool solution...an American solution. I'm interested to see it in person. I think it was a good move to make it carbon fiber, to play up its uniqueness and make it a high end accent piece.

Love the hood...but hey wait a minute, is it really just a fancy engine cover?!
What is it with car mfg's these days slapping plastic engine covers over their motors? I HATE them on my C5 and have never understood why Chevy couldn't have relocated the ignition coils a bit and used a nice set of valve covers and a better looking intake. Engines have always looked beautiful in Corvettes--think of a '57 with dual 4's--so why don't they try harder nowadays?!

I love the car ... Kinda envious with that front end..lots of cooling and the shaker hood really makes the car look mean...i bet it sounds awesome... hard to tell on videos. However, I love my Z06, got a great deal and it’s so much fun to drive...

I LOVE IT! Beautiful CF!! It reminds my of the higher hoods from the early 70's, if I remember correctly, the LT1!!
