Z06's in '17 and '18 have an added radiator laying flat behind the front grill, a raised supercharger with a different cover and more clearance under the hood. Also, I thought this limp mode thing was with just A8 Z06's?

First, the low wing option seems to poorly match the aggressively high hood and mean looking front fascia. That side shot looks like two different cars if you cover either the front half or back half.
Second, the price of this ZR1 is within spitting distance of far more exotic cars. At 150k, you could be buying an R8. While i love tracking my C7Z and beating the pants off Porsche owners in their GT3s, my buddy in his lowly V8 R8 gets far more attention on the streets than I ever do. If my goal was to have a waxer garage queen that just goes to cars and coffees, I’d never buy a ZR1 at those prices.

If I were buying one, it would only be a manual.

M7---just like my ZO6!
Back to the track I go! Hopefully no more limp mode! It will be nice to bring both this and my ACR-E to the track and run them back to back.

I love the new ecm with port and di
finally! this will make the upgrade path hopefully easier to add more fuel
the new blower looks great biggest rotors yet
I love how they did the "shaker hood" it will make the car a pain to service, but it looks pretty cool and hides the "beautiful tupperware" that hides below. Come on guys, make an engine that is worthy of looking at like the old lt5
I hope the a8 has also been beefed up as this puts the tranny much closer to the current torq ratings and the auto may indeed struggle with this much oooofff dah!!
The new king didn't trade the top end bomb away for full aero which is good 210 is the new LBA

My order will be a ZTK M7! Probably 3ZR too, because why cheap out at this point, and I plan to put a lot of street miles on it. From the video on the Chevy website, it looks like the interior (guessing 3ZR?) will have blue stitching, at least as an option. I'll probably spec Watkins Glen Gray or Black with the standard blue calipers and blue stitching. Black kinda looks better with red calipers, but it doesn't go with the blue badges and stitching. Hmm, tough decisions here.

I have the M7 Grand Sport and would stay with the M7 on a ZR1. Even though the GS has way less power than the Z06 and the ZR1, it still has enough power to be driven like a three speed if you don't want to shift that much. I drove mine to work in downtown Houston today and when traffic builds I just use 2,4,6 shifting. Not a hassle at all and it shifts right when I want it to not much later than the paddle shift click like the A8's I drove. Very glad I went with the M7.
