I don’t think that’s the low wing, don’t think we’ve seen the actual low wing yet.
Since it’s still Magride I think daily driving will be about the same as the Z06.
Same. I hope tadges statement about it not being double the price of the stingray is true. If it starts around 95-100k I’m in, but not if it starts at 125k or higher.

I am impressed and will definitely buy. Got myself on top of the list at one dealer and #2 at another as a backup. Whoever has the first slot gets my order.
Can't wait to see the rest of the details but right now probably going with the Sebring Orange Edition.

We can use the 2013 C6 ZR1 price range when it came out new. I saw an MSRP sticker for about $130K. But I think that is for the top of the line option package 3ZR with all the bells and whistles. So if the C6 ZR1 was about $130K sticker, then the new C7 ZR1 with all the bells and whistles MSRP price is about $140K-$150K?

I am impressed, waiting to see the actual msrp, before I decide to buy or wait for the mid engine. I was hoping for more of a body style change.

Big wing is cool, but would not get... prefer active aero. Glad you can order with smaller wing though. Wonder if zr1 will be limited run of 500 or so?
most likely out of my price range anyways, so gonna keep my z06. I am more interested in the unveiling of the mid engine corvette C8!

I'm impressed but my 2017 ZO7 only has 200 miles on it......and my 488 GTB is being built this month.

Keep in mind that ZR1 rumors were coming out when I made the decision to save up for a Corvette, but my intent was never to get the ZR1 Corvette regardless of rumor or reality. I can "make" the budget to get it, but that's another story.
Side note: Any reason why a poll wasn't added to this thread?

Where is the "I'm impressed but can't afford to buy" option?
Buying a "1LZ" ZR1, or even Z06 IMHO is just dumb. The ZR1 show in Dubai is for sure the "3LZ" with the carbon fiber option (which is $15,000 alone). So I'm guessing the car as shown is close to $150,000.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ZR1, but if the $147k price tag is true it's 45K above my budget
More like a 100K above my budget! LOL. Seems like the car makers just keep upping the ante on who has the fastest car. I wonder where it’s going to stop. I love the ZR1 but I love Top Fuel Dragsters too and I don’t plan on having one of those either. Jer

As with any introduction of a new Corvette, on one hand, I'm impressed with what they've done. On the other hand, from the problems I've heard that earlier C7 Z06's had.... This incarnation should have been the improved Z06.
Leave the ZR1 nameplate for the mid-engine model that Zora wanted to build in the first place. A 2018/19 C8 ZR1 would have been the ultimate introduction model for the next generation and work their way down to base model C8's. Down-selling is towards base models is much easier.... I guess they blew that opportunity.
I'm not buying.... I'm happy with my 2018 Z06!

I’m very impressed, but will not buy, because I can’t afford it! Just bought a Grand Sport this summer and I absolutely love it. Besides, my wife, the family CFO has already put a “kibosh” on it.
