Default M7 Gearing?
Do we know if the Zr1 will have the same gearing as the Z06 or different?

The A8 gear top is ~213mph, and the M7 top is ~221mph, respectively. An interesting question might be how the top speed metrics parse out! My guess is the M7 closer top speed ratios are doing the deed, at least sooner!

Both the C7 Z06 and the C7 ZR1 use the Tremec MEK TR-6070, so both have the same gearing. They both have the same 3.42;1 differential gearing.

GM has announced that the ZR1’s entire 7M gearing is the same as in the Z06.
