Call Kent from Weapon X. He'll take care of you. He got their supplier to overnight me a set. They are kinda specialized bolts. I think it costed like $145.00 for the bolts and over night shipping. Take a look at the circular and square holes contained in the brackets attached to the bottom of the wing. Mine did not line up and the nuts and bolts could not be joined together. I had to modify the brackets alot to get the nuts and bolts to be able to be lined up and screwed together.

MDK,
Your pictures are very helpful. Can you provide additional detail (maybe a close-up picture) on the upper bracket mounting bolts - those on each side of "OUT"? Did all the mounting hardware come with the wing mounting kit or did you have to figure out what to use where? Thanks.

Looking good mdk!!!!

Heres is what I did......drill the rivet out with a 1/4" drill bit. Went to Ace harwdware and got some 6mm bolts, 6mm washers, 6mm spring lock washers, 6mm locknuts and 6mm nuts.

See pic on how i used nuts and washers along the length of the bolt between the bulkhead and bracket. Order from inside the car is: bolt head, washer, bulkhead, washer, spring lock washer, nut--------nut, spring lock washer, washer, wing bracket, washer, lock nut. I cant remember the length of bolt I got - maybe 80mm long??

Install the wing bracket, insert the bolts and nuts and washers in order. Tighten the outer most locknut until it just touches the washer (outboard of the bracket facing the rear of the car). Then you can tighten the two nuts between the bracket and bulkhead down good and tight.

Glad to help! Hopefully soon my friend!!

Also, if anyone cares, the ZR1 car cover (GM part #84053409) fits the ZTXL wing. It is a tiny bit tight around the wing end plates, but fits OK.....

Does anyone know the part number for those bolts. A couple of mine are a bit buggered and I'd rather replace them before they get completely stripped.

Also, I had a chance to track test my GS with the ZR1 wing and stage 3 splitter. The aero balance is actually very good.

How is the flex on the wing! Another forum member bought wing from another vendor and it has been a disaster as wing was damaged 3 times in the mail and then the 4th wing as too much flex and started to crack as they only used one layer of Carbon Fiber so it wasn't stiff enough so he's starting over.

Wing is rigid as heck. I wouldnt hesitate a bit to use it on a road course at high speed. I believe Ben has run it on his ZR1 to 150ish??

Wing is the real deal, not some fluffy appearance only piece.

I now see that "TensionC7" is a contributor to this thread and felt bad for him trying to get his wing.... glad to know WeaponX Wing is stiff, the Real Deal and functional.

I'm using an OEM wing and it's fine. I had to have mine repaired after the accident but they did a phenomenal job.
