Default Traction control

By the Time my traction control engages the car has already turned 90%
is this normal?

As in what? You nail it the car looses control and the car spins around before engaging? If so that is not normal. It should engage right after tires start spinning with everything on ( meaning you didn't adjust any settings)..

My ZR1 will spin about 25-30 feet before it catches up. My Z06, which is heavily modified, will over power the TC as long as you hold the pedal down. Brakes just can't handle that 1K ft lbs of torque. And the timing and throttle just won't either. Maybe it should, but I keep it off most of the time as that's how I enjoy my cars.
