After looking at everything you missed and I 'm sure I am missing stuff as well. I'm thinking at least 134k and 159k I don't think there is a 1lz on these.
I don't see how it could be much less!
Sure 109K is less than a loaded Z06. But you can easily overlap the next model up with options galore. I have seen Stingrays in the 90's and Grand Sports over 100k. I am talking base price and I am including the Carbon Fiber pieces and CF low wing. At $134K base price very few would buy this car! That is 55K over a Z!!!

im fully with you on this. There models fully overlap when fully optioned. And I believe the real world cost difference between the Z and ZR1 really isn’t that much. You think it really cost GM that much for a larger SC and those coolers! The CCB are standard and likely CF so figure about 15k added to the Z06 off the top then whatever they value the additional performance at. I think if they price it over 115k to start they won’t sell the target of 2-3k or at least not without offering good discounts on plenty of them. The biggest thing that I believe hurts is the idea there is a ME car not too far away. Wouldn’t be a the first time I’m wrong though!!! We’ll know very soon.

+1. Tadge has also said that the base price won't be more than 2x the base of the Stingray. I realize that calling Tadge a liar is en vogue on this forum but I believe the man actually knows what he's talking about. I still stand by my analysis from earlier last week.

FWIW, I kind of hope the ZR1 is ridiculously priced and limited in availability. Then I won't have to come up with the additional ~$40K it's going to take me to trade in my few month old C7 Z06 to one.

$100k base. That is, if they want to sell any significant number...and it all depends on what options they include as standard on the ZR1.

Base price at $20k more than a base ZO6.

Loaded with Extreme aero package $130k-$140k

Wait 2 years and buy one for $100k.

IF the car did not have all the Carbon Fiber....... rear wing spoiler, front splitter exposed CF engine cover, side skirts, fender vents, upper rear quarter vents and exposed CF roof panel.....I believe it would be under 100k base MSRP. With all that CF.....$109,495 is my estimate

...did I miss something? Did they say that all that carbon is standard? The Dubai car was highly optioned. My guess is that car will be $130k+

The base car, IMO, will start at $100k.

Yes, you did miss all those Carbon Fiber pieces that are standard. prolly to the tune of $12 grand if they were an option. Here is the Promo card showing the standard ZR1 features..

Tadge likely said "should" and everyone remembers he said "will" and he forgot he said anything.
I place no stock in that!

I stand corrected. If all that carbon-fiber is standard, then I agree with you - base price $110k.

It just seems odd to me that they would force everyone looking to buy a ZR1 to have a visible carbon roof, splitter, and rockers. I know many that do not like the look of visible carbon-fiber or are unwilling to pay extra for it...I am one of them.

I did not realize all the carbon was standard.

...and NO! The Dubai car will not be $150k. Very few people will buy a $150k corvette....I don't car how great it is, People won't do it. The depreciation curve on these cars is too great. Just my opinion.

Very few buy Z06's? How many people do we have 370 million. It grows every day. They are after a different market . The depreciation curve?
Have you bought any car lately they are all much more. Take a Ford Focus Titaium.

34k new worth 11k 2-3 years later that's a depreciation curve.
KKB has the 2015 as the resale car of the year and another award
for used car of the year. They hold the buck pretty well!

I feel that way too! They could have easily made all the same parts in a composite material that they use now and offer a Carbon Fiber Package as an option. Parts could all be painted in Carbon Flash as now, as standard or offer a body color as an option.

Default And how much to replace the high profile wing?

You know that the high wing will be a very high pilferage item. I can see it now, driving down the interstate and a sun damaged Lancer pulls along side of you with a very nice carbon fiber rear wind that looks very familiar, mounted with some Ace hardware Liquid weld, vibrating in the wind.
