Not to bump an old thread but West Coast Corvettes and I'm sure some others offers reproduction ZR1 wheels in a variety of sizes for anyone like myself who was still looking.

Default MRR wheels ZR1 flow forged

But why settle for a low cost cast wheel when you can add a quality made Flow forged option to your corvette??

our M755 come in a Gloss black ( carbon color ) or Metallic silver ( gloss)

but we also offer custom fiishes so anything from bronze, matte colors , reds, brush effects polishes you name it we can do it.
we do carry every fitment for C5, C6, C7 also stingray models and especially Z06/ grandsport/ zr1 etc.
18-20" specs

aside from a look at a Z06 I also added a few sample colors of what we can do.

Nice. Thanks.

saw these at Carlisle in RPI tent. But you know they're the cheap cast ones which scare me as fragile as even the stock ones have been

yes sir scary for sure/ we are the only company to offer OEM designs in rotary forged construction and we put our brand behind it,
ours retail for 1399-1599 just depending on size combo/ although a rotary forged wheel should sell like our FS line 2100-2600 range we had to keep the OEM styles like the M755 at a lower range in price that way it only takes a little more to get you from a cheap casted wheel to a quality branded rotary forged option.

dont confuse the china cast stuff for a quality option. you can see better details on a better made wheel.

want a cast option at under a grand you can locate those at OEM creations / Factory repo / westcoastcorvettes / ebay/ amazon etc
want a quality option with a company that will stand behind the product and put there brand on a wheel then contact MRR wheels

That's an incredible price for forged wheels. Most companies want twice that for something not nearly as stylish. I'll keep you in mind when I'm ready for my next set.

forged or rotary forged is the question.

keep in mind the wheels are rotary forged/ meaning the center design is a low pressure cast and then the wheel is placed on a special forging machine that forged the entire barrels to the proper width giving you a light weight yet strong aluminum wheel. a mix of two worlds.

Yes, cast ingots and the barrel is rolled by pressure making it technically a forged part. The center is still cast and not forged. If you have a tight budget buy them. If not get real forged wheels with monoblocks being greatly preferred.

They are available now. I’ve had ZR1 wheels on my Grand Sport for a couple months now.

Are they symmetrical? In the early shots they looked like they were non symmetrical.

Edit: got my answer from earlier in the thread. That look is just not for me.
