I'm sitting out the C7 generation.

With 13 radiators and 3,560lbs. it's like watching a hot girl get fat. Still fast, but not something I want to take home.

While I can not afford the car I think that it is good that Chevy?GM continues to build and sell sports cars that get no respect, the Rodney Dangerfield of GT cars. Corvette has found a niche that they exploited to our benefit. Even though I drive a base car I get waves from F cars and others ( no P cars though...LOL ), there is respect by some and the normal crap from others... I like what it is , has done, and will keep doing...expanding the brand.

I'm so glad to hear there are some that are not excited about the ZR1. Since this will be a limited production car, that means there will be more available for those of us that can't wait for this awesome monster!

I think it'll only be limited by two things. Demand and the introduction of the 8th.

I would be more excited if I could afford one (who knows what the future holds though), I was excited when the C7 came out because I knew that I was going to get one.

Definitely excited about this car. Will be in the market in 12 months. Cross shopping GT3.2 and ZL1 1LE. Can't wait for deliveries, formal reviews and track times!

Happy for those who are getting one and seeing pictures of the fastest factory GM car ever produced!

Its exciting stuff to me with the mega performance of this car for 20% of what other super cars cost! I am old school when it comes to my Vettes and old school American Muscle and the Vette in my opinion is always a front engine machine. The fact that the ZR1 will be the King of the HILL and the fastest front engine corvette to be ever built will always make it a special car for me. I see me getting one in several years (LORD willing) parked next to my Snakeskin Green Viper ACR (but with a smaller wing on it than my Vipers)!

On a scale of 1 to 10?

11 !!!

I've been waiting for this car to debut since this past January, and have been very closely following its development (or rather the rumors of its development) since then.

I'm not going to buy one because I can't really afford one nor do I really need another toy, but I'm excited in the same way as other people are in anticipation of seeing a C7R racing at Le Mans. I can't wait to see a comparison track test with the ZR1 and the GT2. I've always figured that the Corvette team must be annoyed that Chrysler builds a faster car, so this must be their answer to the ACR.

I'm glad GM is building it...let's hope both the performance and dependability live up to the hype.

I feel it’s the car my Z06/Z07/M7 was supposed to be.

The ZR1 features a properly sized/engineered supercharger, throttle body, and cooling system for the engine size and power level. Perhaps they’ll even research and develop the shock calibration, like I had to do by adding and calibrating the DSC Controller. They even got rid of the funky fender spats up front.

Hmm, all the things we told them they did wrong with the Z06, they fixed in the ZR1 and we are supposed to be impressed?

I’m a little disappointed in GM right now. I believe they could have done better with the ZR1.

Not really. If I wanted a track car it'd be a COPO Camaro. My kind of track is a drag strip.

I am excited about the outstanding performance of the new King of the Hill. Not for me (waiting for the ME), but excited for those who will be getting this ZR1.

Some good points. Excited for this new power monster, but disappointing they rushed the Z06
