On a scale of 1-10, how do you think look wise did GM do with the C7 ZR1 ?

OK, flame suit on.
Sorry, but only a 5! I expected more from the Corvette team for a "super car". To me it looks like a Z06 with a Honda Civic wing stuck on the back. For a true super Corvette, I should be able to take one glance and say OMG - Not there goes a Z06 that someone stuck a big wing on!

It looks too much like a Z06.
OTOH, it probably should...it's little more than an upgraded C7 Z for the track.
If it did look radically different, it would be weird.

Grey cars are for Japanese sedans and Cadillacs. Why anyone would buy any terrific sportscar in grey is a mystery. If they are afraid to stand out they should buy a four cylinder box.

I'm going with a 8.5.
I have to see one in person to pass final judgement.

10, 10, 10 any way you slice it. A convertible, black/black with yellow calipers and yellow centerline stripe including the waterfall panel, would literally be the only car on earth that would make me even think of giving up my red Z06 vert daily driver. I would have to get used to lifting trunk junk over the wing very carefully, though.
or maybe this.

Fast with class my friend. And for those who don't need a second wife in a black car. The Gray fits the bill
Not to dull is it? Lol
as for the new ZR1? I love almost all of it. I give it an 8 because the nose isn't as nice as the rendering. But regardless car is very nice and puts down This is the look i was hoping for. The front cutouts are not like this. This is bad ***!
some big numbers.

I think they did a good job, for GM. Given the internal challenges, the lineup Chevrolet offers as a brand...they did well. I think the wing is slightly underwhelming because it's thinner and less bold. I think the ACR struck a real balance with its aero...the ZR1 seemed like they were scared to go all in with a real piece of aero and made it as small as they could muster and meet their targets. I'd have liked to see a little more chord length on the wing and slightly more width.
So...I'll the first guy on the entire Corvette forum to say it...the wing is too small.

The ZR1 doesn’t appear to photo well from the front end thus looks exaggerated from this perspective. I think most enthusiasts will at least like it once seen in person. That Orange rocks. For me, until then, I give it a solid 8.

9 ... Love the looks, however I hate big wings regardless of function. Just not my taste. I think they should add some sort of staple design for the car, having the two side vents instead of the vent slot on the front fender would have been a nice touch.

To me it looks like an after-thought.
Interior - I am not sure I like the bronze tint on the aluminum; it makes the space unnecessarily too busy and does not match the remaining polished aluminum pieces.
Exterior - the front bumper is functional; I am okay with it. The rear wing could have easily been designed on a pair of hinges to fold back and out of the way for rear cargo area access - that's a major design flaw.
Engine - I have a feeling that the rubber gaskets around the shaker edges will, over time, scratch the heck out of the glossy underside of the hood as the engine shakes. The jury is still out on this one.
Overall - no WOW factor as was the case with the Z06.
Score - 6.
Will I buy one? Yes, but towards the end of its run, especially if it will be the last Hi-powered front engine.
