We have a poll!
Snow tires on your new ZR1?
Will you put them on? or no I will not put them on!

Why not? I have a lot invested in the C7 widebody that I will carry over to the ZR1 and that includes a set of snow tires.

I too have 3 other vehicles with four-wheel drive in my driveway. If I need to go somewhere in any significant snow I'm clearly going to take those if for no other reason ground clearance.
I also am now in my third Winter with a C7 Z06. Either of the stock tire options are hard as rocks when it gets cold and can crack - you know that. So if you want to drive your Corvette for the ~5 months out of the year when it's cold in the Northeast then having a set of snow tires makes that possible.
I've also had the experience of driving to work on a day when it wasn't supposed to snow and you get an unexpected squall come through. It's better to have the right tires on the car to be prepared for that eventually than either park my car for 5 months hooked to a battery tender or drive it and end up stuck.

I really don't understand you. You create a "poll" asking who will run Winter tires. I say I will and then you want to lecture me about having "more appropriate vehicle for Winter"?

My father would often ask, “Didn’t you buy it to drive it?” And finish with something like, “Enjoy it.”
Sounds like you’re enjoying your cars!👍

Live near an airport. Then you can run it through there deicer on your way to work...But then again you would need to work near an airport so you could do it again to get back home.
