C7 ZR1 official trap speed
What are your predictions?
I'm thinking 134-135. Not sure if they will give two stats, one for the high wing and one for the low wing.
also attaching some pics of a few in the wild, not sure if it' a repost. I did see the darker red convertible with low wing posted here already so I'm only posting the other two.
Best appearing combo IMO would be the wing and wheels from the torch red car on the yellow zr1

The above was a survival test. To me it looks like it passed.

Low 10s at 137 mph.
With hero runs at ATCO and MIR with perfect air and track conditions and drag radials 9.9x at 139/140 mph (of course with the A8 trans).

if the C7Z A8 can run 10.21 on a TIRE....then you add 100hp...shouldn't have trouble running 9.9s on a TIRE. 134-135mph avg...BUT on a hero run probably 140mph. We've seen 137 on the C7Z...which is nuts...

Using the formula HP=weight x [velocity/234] cubed, I come up with 137.5 mph using a gross vehicle weight of 3,700 pounds which includes a fairly skinny driver.

Interesting responses, I think the official GM stat for the C6 ZR1 was 131 mph and C7 Z06 was 127 mph.

R&T has the MC 720s trapping at 148. That was the PCOTY winner....is that a typo.
715 Hp and 538 tq with about 3200 lbs, just cannot believe almost 150 mph with only rear wheel drive.
If so the DCT tranny’s must really be amazing.

That being said those same hero runs that the C7 ZR1s will run in the future certainly will break into the high 9s at 140 mph and should be able to run low to mid 10s fairly consistently (with the A8 auto tranny of course, which I certainly hope has been BEEFED up).

Saw a Macca 720S dyno 711 at the wheels STOCK. So yeah...not a typo.

Don't forget that those C7 Z06s you reference on drag radials where only run by 1, 2 or 3 folks here under perfect conditions and out east at MIR, ATCO, etc., the fastest tracks in the Country. Those hero runs of the C7 Zs in the low 10s with trap speeds of 136 and 137 mph are certainly few and far bewtween. Most others run 10.60s to 10.80s with drag radials on the majority of tracks without mine shaft air which is VERY impressive (but now low 10s which your statement makes it seem like that's the norm, when it not)!

But, I think I was pretty clear when I said: 'avg. 134-135mph...BUT on a hero run probably 140mph.
Either way, the car will be fast...very fast...esp. with the small wing.
Side Note: The 720s qtr time is utter insanity. Seriously wow. Took the P1 and La Ferrari 150-200hp more to run the same number...
