Quite possible, but again-speculation.
We need something official from Chevrolet.

Not sure why you all think the ZR1 will be $120,000? My 2015 Z07 was ~$119,000 fully loaded.
My Opinion is you will see the ZR1 way north of $130,000+
2018 Z06 - Z07 package is more than likely the same ~$120,000

The base model with minimal options will be $120K. As soon as you start throwing the basic options that everyone will want (similar to a 3ZR Package) it will get to $130 to 140K real fast.

Let us just look at all the visible carbon fiber that is standard on the ZR1. Also its standard $7,500 carbon-ceramic brakes. And consider the costs of four additional heat exchangers, dual port injection system, 755 HP, 715 TQ, new front new hood, fascia, fenders and its front splitter and its rear wing.
And amortize the development costs over perhaps 5,000 units (GM has officially stated it will be “limited availability”).
We have a lot of dreaming on this and other threads as to its entry level price.
I would be thrilled if its entry price were a penny less than $117,997. And I believe its entry price will be $121,997.

Although I'm curious, where are people coming up with the official quote from GM that the ZR1 will be "limited availability"?

I agree that many guesses are far to low, I would say 112K is about as low as one could realistically expect to get into a base model ZR1. I'm basing that off that off the Carbon 65 edition Z06 with a Z07 package is close to the amount of Carbon on the ZR1 with the correct brakes.

Gotta love the "limited" availability or production BS that accompanies the release of all this stuff. Total nonsense in every case. Who didn't get a C6 ZR1 that had the means and desire to do so? That's right, NOBODY. "Limited" production indeed. $25,000 discounts will be available as they were on the last "limited" availability ZR1. What a bunch of nonsense. The scum ball dealers will be as predictable as ever with their market adjustments for the suckers who can't wait a couple months and are willing to be raped by these grease *****.

I read GM's planning on approximately 3000 ZR1s!
Can make more if needed!
- If they get 3000 orders they forgo The Ring!?
- If they don't get 3000 orders they seek to beat their underestimated(Overperform!) Ringtime!
- They sell body ZR1/ZO6/ZO7 weight/aero/cooling/computer programming!?

Remember the first year 2014 Stingrays, and supplier restraints imposing long term during that year, including especially visible carbon fiber. Remember when the Z06 was introduced, when Harlan told us up front that visible carbon fiber was going to be a “production limiting factor’ for a while— and it was, with many forced out of getting their ordered accepted if it had the visible CF aero package, many ordered instead getting the non-visible aero option — or waiting sometimes months if they refused to compromise.
Making a centerpoint matched visible engine cover and making the CF centrpoint match very large rear wing (regular and ZTK versions), with GM’s quality control CF standards, is going to be the limiting factor IMO.

As to the question above, asking for an official GM statement of “limited availability.”

Which should be expected by any and everyone.

It is limited availability. Only for one year. So if you are planning on waiting a couple years for a really good deal off MSRP it may not happen
I'm sure they will build as many as they can sell for 2019 model year but that's it..

Aren't Corvettes already limited availability? Dealers need to have allocation to even order one and not every dealer gets as many allocations as they want.

GM may choose to limit the number of dealers eligible to place a ZR1 order, e.g., the top 100 by allocation???
