I'm not looking for any discounts, I'm simply looking to pay sticker and be in on the first wave of production.

As for Kerbeck, I spoke with them when I was looking to get out of my 2011 Carbon and into a C7Z. They were very up-front with their trade-in value and acknowledged that it was lower than I'd get elsewhere. I don't recall the exact reasoning behind the low offers but I do remember it made sense to me at the time. I didn't end up dealing with them because of that, but I would if I get rid of the C7Z on my own.

The reasoning on the lower trade value is they make more money. But more importantly, congrats in advance .

New cars are usually planned years in advance and all we see are spy photos and never any information on how it is going to be manufactured.
BGA Plant Manager Kai Spande said in late August, that as a result of the 13 week shutdown and complete re-do, the Plant is now capable of, like many other GM facilities, producing different models. He quickly added, “but do not read anything into that regarding “future potential product.”

The ME is going to be build within BGA. It will be a 2020 MY car, with first ones coming to customers estimated summer 2019. As to whether there will be one integrated assembly line producing both 2020 front engined C7’s and the ME, or whether when the old paint shop is 100% cleaned up (probably within three/four months), and a new assembly line built within that soon-abandoned 250,000 square feet of area (roughly the same size area as where the Cadillac XLR had its own assembly line), is a subject of debate/difference. However, whether one or two assembly lines doesn’t mean that much, as within the Plant, both will be produced.

If only one assembly line producing both models, an assembly line shut down will be occurring, but probably in the order of 4 weeks, maybe 6. You are right that GM planned ahead, and all the new equipment bought and installed during the 13 week makeover, was bought with the knowledge that two models are going to be build within the Plant.

That's true, you always get more on the street yourself. $5k difference for me on the same trade for the EXACT same new ZR1 (60th) at another Chevy dealer seemed odd. Les Stanford had to look it over (it only had 5,000 miles). The other dealer told me the Z06 price over phone. I guess they wanted the ZR1 out of their life!

One thing is for sure, no dealer is getting my '12 Carlisle Blue ZR1 and try to cheat me on a trade.

The super large Corvette volume dealerships are great if you are buying on a clean deal....not so good if you are trading and you may do better locally.

Good Morning ,

Let's discuss for a moment the matter of trade in situation. I perform many a long distance deals involving a trade. I ask for multiply photos, Odo photo and VIN #. Once a trade figure is reached, we expect a fair representation of the car in the photos. Many times, the cars arrive with tires that are not road worthy, chips, broken windshields and more. Smoke in your car, yes it will affect the trade price. Many times, I know when the car arrives that the photos used were older photos. Not to be nasty, but lets be honest here. It's real easy to knock what a dealer will or will not do, but nothing is ever said of the customers behavior. Every Corvette is beautiful and every fathers daughter is a virgin.

I can assure you that my trade was exactly as I stated with pictures sent, the VIN etc. My would be trade only had 500 miles on it, it was virtually brand new! The salesman stated to me that regardless of the fact it only had 500 miles on it and was in perfect condition, that it was only worth $47,500 according to his sales manager! I traded it locally and got no problem getting $52,500 for it on a very comparable car plus a decent discount. It was truly $5000 more than what I was offered at your dealership.
Back in 2004 I did buy a new Commemorative Z06 on a clean deal from Les Stanford. The car was discounted $8000 + a $4000 GM loyalty rebate. Locally, the same exact car was going to cost me $6000 more! Worked out great with no trade back then but not so well with a trade last year!

Greg,

Right now, we have allotment for 10 Stingrays and Z-51 cars , 5 GS models and 5 Z-06 models. ZR-1 list at 35 with more allocation than that available. Mid-Engine car has openings.
