Default How would you build your ZR1?

I work at a Chevrolet dealership and we’ve begun taking orders with 2 already locked in. We can get as many as we’d like and I’m ready to get myself a coupe. How would you guys build yours? Im torn between all the color combos and options and looking for a little direction!

Love the Summit White/ Adrenalin Red. I guess I'm seeing some people are on wait lists to order them? We have allocations with two already sold and have the ability to get a few more it sounds like. I am in love with the Orange though so it won't be an easy decision.

Default How would you

I just ordered one the Special orange edition...Convertible-Auto without the track package. Could have ordered without special Edition but when you break down the Price Differential I thought it paid.
My concerns though are:, 1. Being a convertible hard to track. 2. Orange Color could be hard to sell.
I am am a believer though in ordering most options because you are then never sorry. H

Most HPDE events require a rollbar in convertibles.
Knowing you, you will probably sell it to get a C8, anyway! If I got a convertible, it would have the auto trans and no track package. I like the new Sebring orange with the exposed CF pieces together.

Coupe only
Sebring Orange Design package
ZTK Performance package
7 speed manual only

That would be my starting point.

The vast majority will be 3ZR's but you can order a 1ZR if so desired.

Assuming I get an allocation I would definitely get:
Coupe
M7
3ZR
ZTK Package
Sebring Orange paint.

Now this is where I get less certain. I think that the Kalahari interior would look really nice with Sebring Orange but I also like the Sebring Orange Design Package (SODP?). The SODP is a good bit more expensive than Kalahari even if I get comp seats and the extra CF bits.

SODP also has extra suede on the dash and armrest, I wonder how that will hold up to a lot of track time where the car is frequently sitting in a dusty paddock and you're wearing sunblock jumping in and out of the car. I really have no idea how well you can really clean alcantara.

I'm on the list at two of the biggest dealers and I'm not sure what to make of the folks that have already gotten calls from their dealers. If I haven't heard anything does that mean I should start checking out other dealers?

Unless I build the engine, the deal is off! But the color choices are awful, no good choice at all. My current C6 ZR1, 2012, is Carlisle Blue, but nothing anywhere close to that good. I don't know what I will do.

Any of you guys NOT planning to track it, (especially those who are ordering the ZTK package) at least no more than a couple times a year? I would use it to commute to work a few days a week, and for fun canyon runs, weekend trips,... but tracking will not be at the top of the list.

I would never track it, or get that huge, ugly spoiler, but I will take it to the Texas Mile to join the 200+ MPH Club again, like with my '12 ZR1. It will be used for long distance touring, rallies, and road tours with fellow Corvette owners to NCRS national meets, like my '12 is. Never around town.
