I find it interesting that the car has a harness bar and harnesses in it with the comp seats. I thought the conventional wisdom was that the angle was wrong with the holes in the comp seats. I would think that a major corporation like GM wouldn't put their own employees and journalists in a car with unsafe equipment. Perhaps it's not as big an issue as we think?

Look again, those are definitely stock comp seats. Black leather and red stitching.

Those aren't OEM competition seats. Agree they're fixed back race seats. Look how high the shoulder wings are. The shapes are different too.
