I find it interesting that the car has a harness bar and harnesses in it with the comp seats. I thought the conventional wisdom was that the angle was wrong with the holes in the comp seats. I would think that a major corporation like GM wouldn't put their own employees and journalists in a car with unsafe equipment. Perhaps it's not as big an issue as we think?

Those aren't OEM competition seats. Agree they're fixed back race seats. Look how high the shoulder wings are. The shapes are different too.

GM wouldn't let the journalist drive but they arranged for a trained driver -- from the looks of that driver's bangs peaking out from under the helmet he must have been recently potty trained. he can make #2 on the big people toilet.
