SF Bay Area dealer mark-ups

Premium Supporting Dealership
It doesn’t seem difficult at all getting a ZR1 at sticker. Clearly you have dealers throwing themselves on this thread alone offering sticker deals.
Ford’s specialty vehicles is a different animal altogether. Rediculous actually. Going into the 4th model year, it’s still not easy finding a GT350 R at sticker.

Some of us understand that these are commodities and want to deliver a great experience. Most Forum dealers get this. We're fortunate enough to look at the ZR1 as an opportunity to increase volume and not look at it as a golden ticket. I won't comment on other's practices but we definitely are here for the long term and not for a quick buck.
Either way, I can't wait to start delivering these cars to you guys!

Does anyone know of a dealer in the Bay Area or around that would be willing to sell a ZR1 at sticker price?
Momentum last wanted 50K.
Capitol Chevrolet wants 20K over as of today

Forget SF and go to Southern Calif. for a better deal.

Gotta love Abel. I came to this thread thinking I'd recommend them. The most honest dealer I've ever dealt with.

Gentleman relax relax, markup is there with any new most wanted vehicle, u cry over 25k markup for zr1 why don't u call Ferrari dealer and ask about the markup on 488.
There are lots of ppl that will pay 50 grand markup to be the first zr1 owners. It's San Francisco average starting home is 1.5 million.
Just because you don't wanna do it or can't do it, it doesn't mean it's wrong to have a markup or pay for the markup.

Ended up getting my GT350 in Oklahoma and driving it back to the SF Bay Area due to the shenanigans from local dealers. Many are still asking $20,000 over for a regular GT350, let alone an "R".
Getting the car out of state turned out to be an awesome experience. Flew out with my dad and drove the car back together. Great way to spend a few days. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a car in high demand.
Because I bought it out of state I needed to get a smog check performed (if you buy in-state that step is not necessary), and I needed to pay the sales tax when I registered (OK has no sales tax), but it was really easy to do.

It has to be frustrating living in a market that has those ridiculous ADM's or to not have a relationship with a dealer who values customers who are loyal. We purchased our R at MSPR, got a ZR1 coming at MSRP (I was hoping for invoice), gave one of our sons a Focus RS for his 16th birthday when they were hard to come by, got it at invoice and got a quote on a Raptor behind invoice.
Hang in there guys, no need to over pay for a ZR1 now, prices will be much lower in 6 months.

Cali was marking the Z's up quite a bit. So I bought mine from Rick Hendrick back east at MSRP. I'll do the same for my ZR1. Refuse to feed greedy dealerships. If they go broke, its their own greedy fault for screwing people over!!!!!

Greed is ugly but their not screwing people over. I don't expect any posts from new owners complaining of a market adjusted price or that they were unaware that prices would come down soon. Do you? B.T.W. some would say charging m.s.r.p. for a Z06 is greedy.
