Z07 vs base ZR1 suspension
All,
trying to understand how my 2017 Z07 suspension set up would compare to the “ base” ZR1. For my driving the Z07 package was much improved over my first Z06 ( 2015). I liked the stiffer Springs as it was much better in sport mode, that I use on the street.
Don’t want the big wing on the ZR1 as I just don’t see it work on a convertible. Where do you think I could get some detailed info?

From what I've read they are the same. I find that kind of hard to believe but that is what I recall from the info released at the launch.
#3
Melting Slicks
All physical parts are the same but it's tuned different. In theory a tune could be available in the future to make it the same but I'd fathom the tune is to handle the extra downforce

Where do you think I can get the most accurate information on this. Won’t buy one if it’s not same as my z07. Can’t do wing on a vert.

Drifting
I would not be surprised to see stiffer rear springs to handle all the extra downforce of the larger rear wing. Even the smaller wing produces more downforce over the Z07.

All we have seen so far from GM is that if you get the ZTK, in addition to the big wing, the front splitter vertical blades, the Cup 2’s, and you also get “ZTK-specific chassis tuning.”
What does specific chassis tuning mean, I have not yet seen. Anyone see that defined in a GM document?
