Convertible with the big wing - in the plant parking lot

This whole ZR1 convertible outrage is so sad. The stuff people choose to get pissed off/wound up about on this forum makes me shake my head....
"A ZR1 convertible? With the big wing? GM sucks".
Ferrari makes a Spyder version of every "special" mid-engine V8. You don't hear FerrariChat guys wringing their philosophical mitts about it.

But you want it anyway. I know, I know.

Pilot car, destined for the crusher in the not to distant future. Not a customer car. No telling what that car's been through.
The panel gap you're seeing is why very few pilot cars are loaned out to car mags anymore. Every time some magazine got one, they would inevitably make a comment about a panel gap or something else. Kind of like letting wine writers review barrel samples, which doesn't happen near as much as it used to for the same reason. If you're not driving/tasting FINISHED product, you shouldn't comment about it.

And yet at the LA Reveal, many who are far from not tall (a kind way of saying it), were able to sit in the ZR1 convertible and easily see over the top of the tallest part of the hood — with no visual interference.

^^^ The hood is too tall, the wing is ugly, the grill is not good looking, don't like the wheels......Oh, the humanity!

This thread illustrates the need for more than one choice of wing! I laughed out loud at Dave 1998's comment.....
The term "ricer" is used by younger car enthusiasts. It's a negative term that means something on a car looks cheap, cheesy, out-of-place. I wouldn't want you guys to be "out of touch" with the lingo and/or terminology.

No one mentions that the so called ricers adopted the wing from the real deal race cars.

I will admit I do hate the large track wing, but don't mind the lower street wing that is also available.
I also do not like those wheels. At all. lol

Mama always said if you don't have anything nice to say about something don't say nothing at all. So I will stay speechless.

I am glad that Corvette offers 4 major different choices/combinations for those who are getting a ZR1. The new owners of every one of those will be happy with their cars, and candidly, is that not all that matters.
