Now that I saw it it person, I can say that I am not too crazy about it - no WOW factor, for me, as was the case when I first saw the Z06 in person. The wing didn't seem to belong. It probably looks better on the coupe, but not the convertible. I also don't like how the front tires are too skinny for the rims, and the fascia grilles are a bit too much for my taste. I know it's all there for performance reasons; I am just not sold on the looks.

I saw it in person....LOVE IT! I think the convertible would look better with the big wing with the top down.
Anthony, I know you said you didn't like the grill. But next to the wing, I think the grill is a HUGE improvement over the current grill for the ZO6, Grand Sport-even the Stingray.....very Lamborghini Aventador looking.

As unlikely as anyone with a vert. would ACTUALLY order the Big Wing package, nevertheless, GM has to test that configuration.

I agree that the wing does not look like it belongs on the vert, although I have not yet seen one in life and I have seen a number of coupes with the wings and they look right. I am kind of surprised they even offer one on a vert as anyone getting a vert in a ZR1 is probably more interested in cars and coffee than a downforce enhancement. Actually I think the ZR1 in a vert doesn’t even make sense at all. Wing or no wing.

This thread illustrates the need for more than one choice of wing! I laughed out loud at Dave 1998's comment.....
The term "ricer" is used by younger car enthusiasts. It's a negative term that means something on a car looks cheap, cheesy, out-of-place. I wouldn't want you guys to be "out of touch" with the lingo and/or terminology.

It comes from people adding non-functional equipment to their cars to make them appear fast. Anything that is functional and adds to a car's performance cannot be "rice". Therefore, a wing which adds down force and helps a car handle better is not "rice."

The Big Wing is functional and meant to serve the car's #1 purpose: tracking.
Anyone who thinks of taking a vert. for *****-out runs at a track has a death wish (unless a roll cage is installed).
Just my opinion...YMMV.

It looks tacked on, like it doesn’t belong, it does not appear functional, it looks like it belongs in the original Fast and the Furious.
So if it looks rice, but is functional, then it can’t be rice....makes no sense. A Civic with the same wing will add some sort of downforce, it may not be optimal, but it would serve its purpose to produce some sort of down force. Then by your definition, that can’t be rice.
This car would look allot better with the Z06’s stage 3 wicker bill spoiler
