WEAPON-X Carbon Fiber Rocker Vents - the missing piece!
I don't know about you guys, but the black rocker vents drive me crazy since everything else is carbon fiber. So, we decided to move forward making carbon vents for the rockers to compliment our vast array of carbon already offered for the C7s. These are very easy to put on and can be done in less than an hour as all you need to do is pull the rear wheels and remove the wheel liner to gain access and if I recall, they're only held in by a single bolt. I'll be test fitting these soon for pics, and if all is good, I'll publish pricing and open up for pre-orders of the first batch!

Ben,
Every time I get to the point of not wanting to spend more money, you give me another reason to drain my bank account!
Seriously, you are developing some great products and are clearly leading the pack with ZR1. Keep up the great work!

I thought these were riveted in place through all 3 holes?? It looked like a major PITA to replace...otherwise, I'm sold.

Just got them in Friday, got them on today with very little issues. We'll have install pics and vids up soon, but it's not as easy as originally thought since we fit the 3D printed version on a C7 that had the Z06 body installed on it; however, it certainly is not difficult.
Remove rear wheel, remove wheel liner, brake duct scoop, and use a carbide deburring air tool to take the head off of the 3 rivets and there is a clip at the bottom and they come right out.

We are ready to rock on these carbon rocker vents! I have 10 pair being made now, first come first serve and offering them introductory for $299 a pair! These are scheduled to be done by the end of the month.
Order Here:

For those of you whom want to see about install, here is a video and it would take less than 2 hours to install these with basic tools.

I love the look, and ease of installation. The price point is ok too. But I will not have my ZR1 until at least the end of the year. So how many runs are you planning?

I did some googling to see what the "before" would look like and noticed this:

Notice that this rocker vent is painted body color. This was a pre or early production at LA last year, but it brought to mind that I do not actually know if the rocker vent on ALL ZR1s is black, or if on some colors it will be body colored. What do we know about this?
