Silver for sure. Black possibly. Chrome never ever no way. You will never see chrome on Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren or any other high end exotic.

Must be the over 60 crowd that is buying the New ZR1 with Chrome rims. Only kidding I am 52 years young and I like Black so it must be a over 60 thing.

Here, here... Whatever anyone chooses for their ZR1 (or any other Corvette) is fine with me. It’s their car; it’s their money.

Are we really gonna debate this again?
I’m with elegant.... get what ever you like on your car.
The part I find frustrating is some that post here can’t simply state their preference without saying derogatory things about the things (and any one who likes those things) that they don’t like.
Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s wheel color, size of wing or any other factor.
Can’t we just state what we like about our choice and not talk back about other people’s choices and by proxy...them

As for my next Vette, probably a 2019 Z06/Z07, I'll only run chrome! Some cars, Imports and most exotics, can fly without chrome, as they just look better that way, for the most part. The Corvette looks okay with black )depending on exterior color, while sitting still, but start rolling down the road and it just looks like a black blob with all rotor and caliper in view. I only run black on one car... my police car!

Words I try to live by "Those that bring sunshine to the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves"
The ZR1 in that it is a bit of a different beast in relation to the stingray and therefore maybe attract a different buyer demographic which would then impact wheel selection. This was my original thought

A bit off topic but will have to say that this seems to be true on occasion and difficult to sometimes state ones opinion when asked only to create a conflict... unfortunate

Whatever floats one's boat. Black, chrome, gray, silver, blue, green? The King will be bad-assed regardless of the wheel finish. It will also be very difficult to make it look bad.

GM is so far behind on wheel finishes. There is a whole universe of finishes available beyond just black, silver or chrome.
