That's great, I know someday Shane will call me with the good news, but alas I suspect it will be late summer-early fall. Get excited.........

Saw you today with your family building your engine. Wanted to stop in and say hi but Mondays are full of meetings & ran out of time. Congrats on your build!

WOW, Congrats, how exciting is that!

Is it true that I heard from a friend that all the initial ZR1s to be built will be with the A8 trans and manual builds will be built later (anyone)?

Default ZR1 Engine Build

I built my ZR1 LT5 engine on last Friday, incredible experience. After building the engine, they are moved offsite for storage and delivered just in time to put in the car according to the plant manager. They looked my car up and it will be built March 15. Apparently they are starting the actual production vehicles next week. Not sure when it will be ready, doing the Museum Deliver also. The engineers did tell me that these cars will go through a very extensive quality control before they are released. Have no clue if that means a few days or a few weeks? The staff there is just amazing!

That was initially the case but I believe they are picking up manual trans cars as well now just at a reduced rate (I think it's 20%).
