Default ZR1 Manual TPW Jan 2019!!

my 2019 Zr1 order has been in status 3000 for 2 weeks, one of the first allocations accepted. I ordered the manual 7 speed. I am told by GM today through online chat with Chevrolet that my TPW is 1/1/2019!!! Does anyone know what the hell is going on here?

But wait, weren't you called by Shane to be there to build your engine in April?

TPW 1/1/19 is just a placeholder. Eventually it will go back to a sooner week.

Perhaps the software GM uses requires a month/day/year format in that field, so they use 1/1/2019 as a placeholder.

That is a good possibility as the Generals chat is giving that date to everyone for everything

I really wish they would fix the GM systems, the GlobalConnect ordering system still has no prices by any options. Pretty shoddy software and IT at the General these days.

Not to mention the online Build is not up. Paul, the standard answer to when that would be via GM chat was Guess what? Jan 2019

I can understand the ZR1 not being on the online Build It listing, but there are no 2019 Corvettes at all. Very sloppy.

I hope to get a real date this week then. Should be April. Unless if anyone knows any reason for a constraint on manuals.
