So you've got development ECMs. That doesn't count.

Either way, you're loading calibrations to these things with GMs security keys. Of course that's going to work.
Those of us in the outside world don't have access to GMs code signing and development systems, and so we can't write changes to these controllers.

I think it's either 10 or 15 posts before you get out of the moderation queue.

It would be nice to see proof of non development ecu being modifiable. Not to mention In vehicle with every other module communicating properly after said changes. It sounds like you guys are a testing house, of course they will let you in.

I have all the documentation on how the modules communicate with one another, but I'll never be in a situation that allows me to test this in a full vehicle. I tested how it would communicate with other modules outside of the vehicle, once the correct signals were simulated.
Here is a screenshot of the aforementioned software at hand.
I find it strange that you're able to speak so freely about GM's intellectual property in a public forum. Because if your company is a 3rd party test facility for them, I would find it highly unlikely that a NDA (non-disclosure agreement) isn't in place to prevent the sharing of any information/knowledge about any of their products, systems, workflows, etc. I'm interested in this topic just like everyone else but you might wanna be careful what you choose to share.

I completely understand where you are coming from, that's why I'm selective of the information and pictures that I post. I'm not posting anything to compromise my situation, other than publicly available information.

Does GM do the actual testing after you make the changes or since you have the engines do you have an engine dyno and give them the results? What end result is GM seeking? Tuning for; 100+ octane, E85, emission work, fuel economy, more hp or maybe less hp for other applications?

First off, definitely not Hennessy or any other company out there has successfully cracked the E99. We are still hoping it comes sooner than later, but people stating that companies like Hennessey are building packages and tuning them are just smoke and mirrors. We have done a couple new ZR1s and only push them as far as the stock ECM will allow us to keep them reliable. Once we are able to tune the ECMs, you will see some great numbers out of this platform!
