Yeah, cuz running a an oval with three mile straights and high bank turns is the same as a standing start mile. LOL.
Per Tadge on their run at Papenburg, "You're already going 200 coming off the turn, and then you make the flying mile."

GT2 RS more dynamic Winged!?
I'm guessing it's partially due to less frontal area, and any aero would have more impact, relatively.
And it's also a lighter kind of animal. Tadge says that doesn't matter (old school)!
This is going to be good, and I like those magnesium (Unsprung weighted) wheels - negligable!?
'Close!'
And
Stage 1 and rear Spring Rate - Straight Line!
I'm betting it's quite doable, and good enough for all uses below highway speeds too (an option beating the Porsche)!

Every now and then at the TM you get some favorable tailwind that helps speed. Most of the time, however, you don't have that - mother nature being fickle as she is. Used to be at Goliad and Beeville, guys wanting to roll the tailwind roulette would go in March and hope for a north wind. The October event quite often has a quarter headwind, and often times direct headwind. With the move to Victoria and running a different direction, flipping that strategy may work best.
In any event, without a stout tailwind, the ZR isn't going to hit 200 at the TM. It takes 800-ish to the wheels to hit 200 from a standing start absent mother nature being very kind to you.

Yes but the Z06 can probably had for 20% off at $91,000 and the ZR1 stuck at MSRP for now so the real selling price difference for your situation would be $42,000 so that is a huge difference for us middle class folks but if you have the cash and want a ZR1 then get one for sure!
The difference is what you actually pay. If you can find a Z06 cheaper
you can even save more. Then when you save enough the warranty becomes the only hitch to turning up the wick on the Z06.
I bought a 86k MSRP Z06 w/1500 miles for 68k. A very much affordable
purchase. Extra Hp and extra cooling to the 800hp level and a faster car is 10k and less.

Well, my ordered build specs for the ZR1 was maybe a bit carried away vs. the hypothetical Z06. And at this point I agree the 105 HP difference, as well as any intangible ZR1 zoom and bling advantages, is worth it to me now. But I am having second thoughts about it all, as my '12 ZR1 is only 638 HP, and my '15 Porsche 911 Turbo S is barely 600 HP, yet both are more than enough car for me to have fun with. So I am considering the Z06 instead of my currently ordered ZR1. That can pay for a lot of long road trips, which is what I like to do with them, not a track guy.
Or: one could wait until the inventory build up takes place. Remember the $20K discounts on C7 Z06's the second model year. With the advent of the 850hp+ C8's on the horizon.
All considered, I still want a ZR1. I learned my lesson on my C7 Z06. I refuse to pay premium price anymore to be the first or theoretical fastest car in the garage. I will wait to see if I can get the potential GM Employee Discount on a ZR1 or consider a C8. Just me, but those who get the ZR1 now will certainly have a fine performance value vehicle even at MSRP or ADM. Enjoy driving them the are beautiful cars.

^That's certainly a straight line, "how much hp ya have" at the local car cruise mentality though. Throwing 105hp on a Z06 won't make it match the ZR1 where it matters, just like throwing a supercharger on a stingray won't make it a z06....nor will it do it with a warranty...I'm sure you realize this.

Ok, I'm hesitant to let this secret out, but here goes. Deb, you're a girl. All you have to do is flirt with a couple of the fellas at the C and C, and they'll do it for ya.
When you ladies figure out you hold all the power, you'll rule the world. . . .

OnPoint, you shouldn't be letting that secret out!!
BTW Deb, I'll be running Daytona April 12-13 - can you come on down?
I've got a couple students that will take most of my time on Thurs, but should be pretty well done with them on Fri the 13th (uh-oh!!) if you want to go for a ride. I think this organizer charges $20 to get a wristband to go for a ride, so bring a 20 dollar bill!!

Even though there is great debate on what would be proper for you to do, I believe that no matter which wing you buy, somebody here on this forum will purchase it from you .
