The offer a high wing and a low wing. Just get the low wing if you don't like the big aero.

No Z06 style spoiler is available from GM, just as noted above, the low wing and the big wing options.

Can you trunk swap them? Or is it a completely different platform back there?

Can't order it from GM, but any bodyshop could retrofit one for you. And again, why would you want that anyway?

Why would you want to screw up the highly developed ZR1 aero program with the compromised ZO6 air dam. The ZR1 aero is a massive improvement over the ZO6, performance wise and visually.

Not a good idea IMO.
By installing a Z06 spoiler it's possible it might unbalance the car and then you would really have problems.

As I understand it, the rear wing is mounted directly to the rear sub frame.

if you want a ZR1 that much choose either the big or small spoiler that it comes with . If you don't like it that much then just get the Z06 car. That simple.

I didn't like the big wing in pictures, but once I saw it in person, it goes pretty well with all the other bodywork on the car. Seeing it changed my mind. For what it's worth I'm definitely not a big wing guy.

And save at least $40K (maybe more as there will be big discounts on Z06s), won't have to wait in line forever and pay big ADMs, but you get 105 less HP. Is the 105HP worth all that? Only you can answer.

I was just on the new 2019 revised Chevrolet Build and Price ZR1 site. I priced out the ZO6 and the ZR1 with identical specs and like kind components that would make them a apples to apples comparison. The ZR1 came in at $133,815.00 and the ZO6 came in at $113,540.00 for a difference of $20,275.00. That to me makes the ZR1 a bargain considering the huge difference in performance. The ZR1 centerline book matched carbon fiber alone is a huge difference from the carbon fiber package on the ZO6. The new comprehensive aero package is also a huge advancement between the two with the ZR1 having engine cavity and wheel cavity air management programs. And the engine has obviously been heavily enhanced to 755hp.

Yes but the Z06 can probably had for 20% off at $91,000 and the ZR1 stuck at MSRP for now so the real selling price difference for your situation would be $42,000 so that is a huge difference for us middle class folks but if you have the cash and want a ZR1 then get one for sure!

Well, my ordered build specs for the ZR1 was maybe a bit carried away vs. the hypothetical Z06. And at this point I agree the 105 HP difference, as well as any intangible ZR1 zoom and bling advantages, is worth it to me now. But I am having second thoughts about it all, as my '12 ZR1 is only 638 HP, and my '15 Porsche 911 Turbo S is barely 600 HP, yet both are more than enough car for me to have fun with. So I am considering the Z06 instead of my currently ordered ZR1. That can pay for a lot of long road trips, which is what I like to do with them, not a track guy.

Both builds were 2019 models and were as close to a visual match as I could make it. So called apples to apples and there was a difference of 20k. I doubt we're going to get that much of a discount on 2019 ZO6's. I was surprised it was that close actually with what they have done to the car. The centerline book matched carbon fiber components themselves is a major upgrade over the standard carbon fiber parts. Pagani, Bugatti, and Koenigsegg are the few that are centerline matching their carbon fiber.

Yes, all of the carbon fiber components on the ZR1 are standard.

Default Don't be stupid, get the big wing (moose antlers) for the performance! ;)

Maxed Autobaun, mile, and 1/2 mile have small wing performance considerations!

Simple Dynamic Palatable Mods!
  1. Ride height
  2. Alignment
  3. Tires (SS's for the street!)
  4. Rear Wings (even Aftermarket if necessary - Done!)
  5. (~80HP 100oct race intake and exhaust!)
They won't hurt the warranty None!

It looks like the wings screw in from the top. Something smaller should become available. If it doesn't align custom adapter/stand-off plates for the smaller wing are feasible for light duty.
There also is an old ZR1 type trim spoiler remaining if you just removed it.
The front underwing end caps are removable too.

GM has said the active aero doesn't really work so your not missing anything there! The top Ring cars are evidence of that!

And the big ZO7 thing always has looked Cheesy!

(I remembered this Shark name and found it from probably 10-12 years ago that way, amazing!?)
The Viper's is nicer too!
