GM is understandably unhappy with the 10 CAD pics and the two fascia pictures getting out. So do we know think there is even a 1% change that GM is going to allow NCM Guides take Buyers Tour pictures and then “hold” those pictures until after the reveal (a suggestion on another thread)? Or even the stationary camera pictures to occur, for parts are moved around on the many types of conveyance equipment, sometimes one part even carried by hand by an employee moving around the factory, then “individual picture” screening?
Having worked in an auto assembly line, I can tell you that sometimes making cars is like making sausage, e.g., a very ugly picture. Equipment breaks down, a person gets injured, a part does not fit, so as the car goes down the line while repair specialists are trying to get it to fit, a blanket is thrown to cover the roof and the rear deck with subsequent parts piling up on the blanket as the chassis moves further down the line until hopefully it all gets “caught up/put together” and resumes its line progress as normal. GM did not allow us into the Plant during the initial, post-reveal C7 assembly line process. And doubt we will again be inside the plant for over a year, e.g., not until the assembly process with both ME’s and FE’s, nose-to-tail-intermixed, are going smoothly down the same line.
We are going to need patience (LOL).

I also believe the safeguards put in place are to conceal as much of the ME development as possible. ME from corvette (whether offered in conjunction with FE or not) is a pretty substantial industry move and "industry moves" do attract preying eyes...
It cannot be overstated enough, there are quite a bit of competitors that already offer ME products but how many developed a platform destined for four digit sales volume..? I can think of only one... and I know they are looking..
