I picked up my '12 ZR1 at NCM delivery, and drove it 1300 miles home. It was the most tense and terrifying drive I have ever done, especially leaving it overnight at the hotel in Little Rock. But after dodging 18 wheelers, huge tire chunks on the road they leave behind them, and all the rocks and gravel from the many trucks, I swore I would never do it again. Then when I ordered my '19 ZR1, I forgot about all that and chose the museum delivery option. However, I recently went back to the dealer and had it removed, I can't face that drive again. I want to pick it up at the dealer.
