2019 ZR1 already available below MSRP?
I found this one on cars.com which is advertising a 2019 ZR1 from Hendrick Chevrolet for 8k under MSRP.

Is this correct?

Sure appears to be. No reason to let them sit on their floor plan and pay that interest. Knew it would happen but didn't expect it to be in the first week of deliveries. Talked to a Dodge dealer a couple of years ago with 2 Viper ACRs in his showroom. I told him he was lucky to have them. He replied: "I am paying the same interest on those 2 cars sitting there as I am on 20 others that will turn over every month."

That has to be a mistake. Also likely a sold order that was backed out of. It was my understanding only sold orders were being accepted by GM so far.
Why would they knock off $8k in the first month of production when there are people out there with that exact build paying MSRP or better? Also people out there who can’t find an allocation period? Just doesn’t make sense at all

they show it for that price on their website.........
I'm not surprised,......Even though my order has not been picked up by GM yet, my dealer has given me a fair discount off MSRP for my ZR1

I am a good customer
I got their one & only ZR1 allocation, I buy my Corvettes from them, they always treat me fair on price, & we are friends, I'm happy....
Just wish the order would get moving faster..........

Hendrick Chevrolet has two ZR1s available and is considering moving the Blade Silver one quickly. I have been speaking to them about these cars as I am in the market. Recently, my 1011 mile Z06/Z07 was totaled.
If the car is not spec'ed the way that someone may want it, they are still taking orders.

I know there are some dealerships giving good customers a discount ( Dear my Dealership XoXo debra )
BUT with people tripping all over themselves for an allocation why would they be discounting a car so quick ?

When GM builds a car and invoices it to the dealer GM uploads it to the dealer's website and cars.com. GM puts the price on and discount. The dealer has to go in and change it. How or where they come up with the discount is a real mystery. Ask any GM dealer and they will tell you it is a real pain in the *** and make the dealer look bad

They would sit and sit and sit in showrooms of smaller dealers.
IOW, a useless ZR1.
