Default Fire Breathing Beast Exhaust ?

Exactly how does this work? Asking for a Friend so rolling in to Cars and Coffee is a spectacle.

I must have missed the fire breathing bit, Deb. Do you have a link that has some details?

Here ya go. Looks like it only "shoots flames" at full throttle down a straight, etc. I think its due to the new patent pending pressure baffles that open under heavy load. This feature is new to the NPP exhaust only on ZR1 to my knowledge.

I am quite interested to see the mechanical components of this new NPP exhaust..

^Not sure about that Ferrari but I've seen a few videos with Lambo's revving it up and catching fire. That's one way to show off I guess lol.

I suspect they won't get flames driving into Cars and Coffee. The car has to be at wide open throttle at full load (meaning accelerating or pulling a heavy load), not likely to get those conditions while idling into the cars and coffee parking lot. As for the exhaust I don't think it will operate any differently than the C7 NPP exhaust. Select the Settings Icon on the dash screen, select exhaust management and select Track. Then you have an open exhaust all the time with a straight pipe from the cat all the way back to the muffler tip. Winging the throttle in neutral won't get you much because they probably limit rpms to 4K or so.

Yup, totally agree. No way they would let that happen sitting in a parking lot. Too much liability from burning peoples legs or catching things on fire.

That was cool to say the least but it was getting really blue in that flame. Robert
