Good to see the ZR-1 is already hitting the streets. That being said, not a fan of the Home Depot exterior color or those wheels.
YouTube fame? Never even heard of this guy. And he sure does like to laugh at his own "jokes."

I have a close friend that is just starting the youtube thing. You have to have over 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time before a channel can become monetized.
I was told that roughly every 750,000 view equals about 2000.00 from ad revenue.
Mikes videos usually hit around 350K views in just a couple days. Some have well over a million views and they will always continue to get more views.

He is a pretty smart, entrepreneural kid. Good for him. I'm excited to see what's in store for ZR1 content from him!

Mike is pretty transparent and is one of the few youtubers who actually shows his earnings. There is no one-size-fits-all formula of dollars per view. Just depends on how many ads youtube places on your videos and how many viewers sit through the ads and don't skip. Mike's videos average 300k views, give or take, and he has shown he makes roughly $1500-2000 per video. $40-50k a month. Dude is puling in $500k+ a yr and can write his cars off as a business expense to boot.

I see his vids all the time they are entertaining unlike other corvette YT'ers out there that talk so much crap... about stuff they have no idea about.
I love the fact that he took this car and dropped it on the dyno right out of the box, unlike others that will do a video about what ceramic coating to use.... ROFL I'm sure he is going to drive it like he stole it, which will make for great videos. LOL!
ZR1 on the dyno FTW!

Mike is pretty cool. Met him a few times at car events. Nice guy! I laugh at all the goons saying anyone can do what he does lol Then do it and make the money he does. Why wouldn't you? Hate on

You have to do some digging, but there are a couple of videos where Mike shows his numbers. I think people are naturally curious, particularly when he buys cars like we buy potato chips. He's already had at least 10 vehicles since I've subscribed to him over a year ago, and another one on the way.

The whole YouTube revenue thing is pretty interesting. You certainly have to find and know your market and keep producing content for it to be a solid income source. Good for him for being a clear success in the new media.
I got on in 2015 just to have a place to post track videos from my C7 Z06 as proof they don't burst in to flames on the track. 3 years later and I think I made $65 in total before they changed the rules so you can't monetize unless you have 1000 subscribers. I suspect that's going to drive even more ad revenue to the fewer folks left so Mike maybe getting a bump in income.
I never really did anything to try and drive subscribers though and I hate hyping things rather than trying to share knowledge. Oh well, only 889 more subscribers to go

I can't stand this douche. Not because he's famous and got dough, but he got that way with his clickbait videos with some drama infused title to them. None of the crap that comes out of his mouth is news breaking. Anybody can find some info on the web and talk about it in a video.
