From what I understand, manual ZR1s won’t be built until later this year. However, a great salesman and a famous YouTuber were able to pull some strings and get their Sebring Orange ZR1, with a manual transmission, built a little earlier than everyone else’s.
StreetSpeed717 and Whitmoyer Chevrolet took delivery of the first and only(so far) 7-speed ZR1. Take a look:
By the way, this is great publicity for Chevy. He plans on being the first to 200mph and I believe the first on a Dyno, via Race Proven Motorsports. He’s already owned a C7 Stingray, a manual C7 Z06 (first two pics below), a C4, then a (replacement) automatic C7 Z06(third picture), then a C5. Now, he owns this ZR1 and the Z06, but the latter will be replaced by a ZTK shortly.
He does crazy stuff with Corvettes, but I like it.
my favorite detail of the entire car is that they even do the back of the seat in bronze. It looks unique and is very classy. The bronze interior trim would look killer with white paint and stitching.
Can’t wait until RPM starts the mod process. Great thing about this car other than it looking great is it won’t just sit in a garage or parked at show being wiped down.

I can't stand this douche. Not because he's famous and got dough, but he got that way with his clickbait videos with some drama infused title to them. None of the crap that comes out of his mouth is news breaking. Anybody can find some info on the web and talk about it in a video.

Towards the end of the video, Streetspeed also revealed that he's going to get a 2nd C7 ZR1. I'm not sure about the color or complete details, but he did mention that it will have the quote/unquote "big wing" compared to what he currently owns. This 2nd ZR1 will also be a manual transmission and should arrive in about a month.
So like him or not, he appears to have a lot of pull which in turn is somewhat good advertising on Chevy's end.
