ZR1 Dual Wing Package.......
I understand that early production CF pieces are in short supply, but at some point it would be nice if they offered a dual wing pkg that has both the small wing for the street/top speed and the big wing for the track. Kind of like the dual roof option. I’d add that to my order. Thoughts?

FWIW, this likely isn't an "early production" thing and will probably be that way throughout the run of the car.
And no, we won't be seeing a "dual wing" option. Like the Z06/Z07 option, the wing choice is part of an overall package that includes the suspension changes and other aero bits.

Agreed. It wouldn't be wise to have the big wing without the suspension and other aero changes to accommodate that type of downforce.

Yep! ;)
Its almost like they planned it that way (mounting pattern)!?
Cold air intake, same- same (830 HP)!
GM's into subliminal messages now (as opposed to that direct 2.95s)!?

In a straight line, that type of thing doesn't matter nearly as much. With or without a wing, the car should be fine.

So you are saying 1 wing to get top speed and the other to look cool? LOL Face it, 99.9% of the people who are getting ZR1's are not using either wing for the reason it's there....it's all for looks

Unlike with the Z06 when, if the carbon fiber skirts and splitter were slightly visibly blemished but 100% structurally sound, and thus could be carbon flash black painted to become part of the CFZ package, most ZR1 visible carbon fiber is unique to the ZR1 and if in any one of those unique parts’ top layer there is a “weave wave” or a small visible air bubble, those parts are not GM accepted — again even if they are structurally sound.

Is that not clear!? ;)
I forecasted last summer when they were at The Ring that swapping the wings would be desireable. They didn't want that known? They designed it that way, and there was never a thought? Of course guys would want the option!
And did Cool feature utilizing their air intake, and mods, just emanate by way of osmosis?
It make sense that the information was intending no responsibility!
And have you ever heard of an actually 2.95s 0-60 MPH!? Again, 3.0s was close but 2.95 sounded better so that was direct B.S., different from above though.

Having a two wing option (high & low profile) makes sense. What difference does it make if the buyer is willing to pay the premium? I doubt many will care about the exclusiveness of the aero packages. Alternatively, buying an OEM wing retail, “IF” available one day, will be insanely priced.
If it’ll be anything like the GT350R spoiler, then you won’t even be able to buy one. Hopefully nobody damages their wing, or like in another thread where a wing was delivered damaged, then you’re SOL.
Edit: Just cross your fingers that ACS, or some other reputable vendor, starts fabricating similar pieces, but it might take some time.

So true, as most will be cars and coffee and cruise night queens. That is the reality of it! Not knocking those that do so...just stating what I have seen.

I'm starting to understand why they used security torx bits to mount the wing. Don't want someone stealing your wing while you're in getting a latte.
