You guys sure know how to nit pick around here. Farmer did a very impressive run on drags w A8. Mike did a very good run on factory tires w M7. It’s a win win for all Vette lovers. Sheesh!

The A8 guys have no idea the M7 is taller geared in first and is very hard to take off fast without breaking traction on stock rubber. The M7 is not a good quarter mile car. The A8 on tire is much quicker.
Both did ok !

Maybe you need to re-read what I said " whether they have a tune, tires(depending on view)exhaust, etc because it's so easy to do to them or something as simple as putting MS109 in the tank." meaning that there are people who actually do this and claim to have stock cars. There's people who don't consider changing tires modifying the cars which it is. There's so many of this cars that run 11.0, 11.1, 11.2 then all of the sudden they run 10.6 or something. Do you really think these cars lose a half a second or more with nothing being done? Yes the car can runs 10s as I've stated many times but for some reason you aren't comprehending that. However the car typically runs in the low 11s. For every car that get's in to the 10s under optimal conditions there's 5-10 more that run 11s. If people think they are going to get a Z06 and go out and run 10 second passes every single time they're in for a surprise. It will run in the 11s a lot more than it will run in the 10s

Would it make you look silly if your statement was wrong? Mike i think is his name is the first current world record holder for fastest c7 zr1. The other guy is modded we are talking stock from factory no mods..Mike is probably the youngest too. Plus whatever other ones people wanna make up like first zr1 down the track or first to race this or that.The other guy has a drag radial. That is no longer stock...The other guy can claim fastest zr1 in the world with a tire or modded whichever you prefer.

My ZR1 dyno'd ~570WHP with an average trap speed of 132MPH. The ZR1 in question dyno'd 668WHP (and should gain some with miles). The ~100WHP delta is more than enough to overcome the additional weight (190lbs) and drag. It should be at least in the 134-136MPH range. The sample size (1 car, questionable driver, 2 not-so-great passes) is hardly worth debating at this point, but it's all we've got. 
Give it a few months and we'll be seeing respectable numbers for the power and weight.
