Default Half Mile Speeds vs C6ZR vs C7Z

Guesses what stock the C7ZR should hit vs the others. Of course there are the Manual vs Auto, and Aero, wing debates It was so easy with the C6s.
Doubtful I will have mine prior to Battlecreek Half Mile in July but Wanna Go Fast and Speed Society are coming to Indiana Or Ocala this Fall.

Deb there's basically zero information to go off of at this point, any talk is going to be speculation. But I might as well speculate along with the rest so here goes...

In the 1/4, Autos will run 10.3-10.6 consistently with faster drivers, slower drivers will still get 10s though likely 10.9s and 10.8s. They'll trap 135-138. I don't think you're going to seen 140+ like some have said, if they did trap 140+ then I think they'd be running 9.7-9.9s which is too fast for this car in stock form. No way it's getting there on stock rubber especially. A 720S which is 400 pounds lighter and makes 690-710 RWHP with crazy consistent launches and boost by gear is running 9.7-9.9s at 142+. I don't see 3600 pounds, more drag, less power, bad launch characteristics of Corvettes (Part of the RWD + Front engined), getting near that.

In the 1/2 mile, I see then running 155-160 MPH. That's a few MPH faster than a C7Z/C6 ZR1 speeds. These cars are going to have a lot of downforce and drag, especially with the big wing, and they're not the lightest thing out there at 3600 pounds.

There's my speculation. By the way, did you get my PM?

Thanks for the thoughts! I always see a lot of Vettes at the Half Miles but very little info on what they are running. Hopefully soon

At the. Ocala 1/2 mile stock C7Zs were running around 149-150 from what I observed. Hellcats 150-152 to give you an idea

Do we get to imagine pulling off all the aero bits before speculating?

Sure, looks like it's off on the above vid!
Maybe for a good half mile mph I could strip off my big Azz wing
For a few moments.

There was another posted video of a run with the wing on, then showing them removing it, I think it was posted on the Forum.

My stock C6ZR was running mid 150s and C7Z low 150s with stage 3 aero on.
The C7ZR is a BEAST

I don't have any vids but I personally witnessed the first two runs with the aero on.

1/4 132.6 and 129.8
1/2 158.8 and 157.1, the 157.1 half ended with a 180.8 mile speed
