Default Another clear difference of the ZR1

Got the car home today From picking it up in Bowling Green. Now that the car is sitting home next to his Sister our 2016 Z06. The front fenders are much wider. Put a ruler on it and see for yourself in the pictures.

other thing I noticed is it does not sit higher than the Z06 both are still factory ride height. The Z06 appears to sit lower due to the fender flares.

as you can see in pictures the ZR1 sits close to a full inch lower measured from top of fender. As I see more I'll post.

Great Comparison!
How does the rear ride height compare?
How does the front spitter compare?

Rear was almost exactly the same. I'll get the front splitter tomorrow in the light.

They built the fenders correctly this time. Crazy they add the silly black flares back in 15.

They got the ZR1 the way they should have done the Z06 in the first place imo, especially with the front fenders.

ZR1 fenders with Z06 side coves...would've been a good thing for sure. These stingray gills on the ZR1 I just ain't a fan of. I feel like they are strange as hell.

yes. As long as the bottom rear of the front fender doesnt have that small triangle area above the rocker extension that exposes the tire just below where the fender starts to flare out allowing rocks and sand to be flung back to the brake vents.

I'm cutting three sets of custom wheels already for ZR1s right now, including mine and was just comparing this yesterday. The front wheels of the ZR1 are a half inch wider and stick 7mm further out; however, the fender line is nearly identical to the Z06. This is the ZR1 over the Z06 fender.

The contour of the ZR1 is beefier though and the front fender vents are noticeably different as well, likely promoting the venturi effect.

not a real big fan of the star wheels. I can live with it though.
